Catlin was, in a word, amazing to deal with. She was friendly, patient, knowledgeable, efficient and thorough, answering all my questions and explaining the whole process in detail as she tested, evaluated and sorted all my items. I felt very confident that I'd chosen a trustworthy and reputable company to deal with and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Vancouver Gold.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For some reason I was a bit intimidated to bring some old family not-worn-or-loved-in-30-years jewelry to Canada Gold on Broadway. That feeling disappeared within 30 seconds of arriving. Dayne was friendly, professional, and quick. He happily answered questions I had about the process as he did his thing to test the quality and authenticity of the jewelry. I also appreciated how respectful he was about saying, "No, this is gold-plated" in a couple of cases without causing embarrassment. In the end, once he'd valued pieces I thought were not worth a great deal, I couldn't stop laughing. He mentioned that he often sees that reaction and it makes his day. As I walked away with a cheque that was easily cashed within the hour, I thought it was worth my time to send this review out to others.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went into the Broadway location on a Sunday right before they closed, the staff was so rude to me. They told me I would have to take a cheque! I said “are u serious” he said “yes”. Then he tried to swindle me by giving me $20 a gram for ten karat! I guess he thought I needed the money or something. I have been a loyal customer of theirs for years and that’s the last time I will ever set foot in their store again!!!
