You have a real gift for teaching and making lessons enjoyable !You understand the uniqueness of our daughter and design every lessons with lots joys: Fun sign reading games with dolls ; telling stories about the piece to help her understanding and playing beautifully; fun theory lessons! We love how you introduce all kinds of music instruments in your electric piano, which intrigue her to play more and compose more. We cannot appreciate more of your help when she needs a piece for school performance. Your teaching is flexible : not just stick to one set of books but broaden her mind with varies resources! You always know when to slowdown and when to challenge her for a thrill and confidence! We have found great joy watching her progress in her piano skills. Your passion has sparked a desire for her to create and compose her own pieces!

She motivates her students to achieve their best through constant encouragement, incredible patience, and intuitively knowing how to challenge us to reach another level. Ms. Mila is truly skilled at the art of piano, evident by her extensive knowledge of techniques, teachings of music history and theory, and various musical professional roles (e.g., professional concert pianist and roles within the RCM program). Best of all, her lessons are always fun, engaging, and productive for learners of all ages.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been a student of Ms. Mila's for 7 years. Through this time I have greatly grown my strength in piano as well as a passion for it. I am very lucky that I found "Piano Spectrum" because for many years prior I had been jumping back and forth between many piano teachers where I saw little progression in my understanding and overall skill in piano. Once I came to Mila this had all changed! She had been very welcoming and worked very hard with me to build my piano to a level that I am proud of.
I was able to complete all the levels of theory and many playing levels through the Conservatory. As well as learn more about various composers and music styles through her masterclasses, and one-on-one lessons.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are from Oregon in United State. Two of my daughters( 9 & 7 years old) are learning piano with Ms Mila during this pandemic time via Zoom. Ms Mila is very responsible, fun with kids and very professional too. Both of my girls are showing a great progress for only two months of classes with her. She is very good at teaching kids different techniques for different songs. That makes a huge difference when they are playing the music. Thanks so much to Ms Mila!

Despite it being an extremely challenging and complicated subject, she is very patient and great at explaining things; her passion and enthusiasm for music is contagious, and I've gained, not only a thorough understanding of harmony, but also a newfound appreciation for composers and the works they've created. Through her teaching I've seen great progress in my learning, and I always look forward to our time together!
