Only local source for Vespa scooter parts and service. Shop is focused on e-bikes but they still work on gas powered scooters.

I take that star back terrible costermer service. Had my bike for 3 months apparently couldn't find the problem. I fix it in 2 days myself and YouTube. Just wanted to sell me a new bike.

The service of this store is terrible. I went to the store to get my repaired e-bike at 4 pm ( the store opening hour is 9 am - 5 pm), the store was closed with a sign "We'll be back soon". I waited until 5 pm, but no one came back. I went to the store the next day and got no apology. The owner was rude as hell. Also, the service took longer than they had promised. The owner said the repairing would take 3 days, but they took 6 days to finish the job.

Would like to give no stars but cant Bought a used bike thought the cheery owner was giving a good deal. He gave me a 60v charger for a 48 volt bike now my batteries are huge (realized wrong after a month of use) will not refer or continue business with this company, as i now have 400$ more to spend on batteries

First of all, Jay the owner, is the friendliest and most courteous guy I have ever met. I have received many great deals from Alfatech. I have purchased 2 Scooters from him all with pleasant customer service. Jay told me about the story with Charles Harry. There are always two sides to any story. Charles may have come to the store to pick up his e-bike that day but two things were against him that day. Jay had tried on previous occasions in the past for other repairs to have Charles come in and get his e-bike to no avail. Weeks would go by and nothing and never a call back. That set a pattern of disrespect. That was one thing against Charles. The second thing that wasn't working for Charles was that Jay had no choice, he had to go to the hospital for a family emergency at that very moment and couldn't leave any explanation for Charles except to write on a sign "We'll be back soon". It took longer that expected. Charles came in the next day with his feathers all ruffled and let into Jay with both barrels and of course Jay doesn't do well with that attitude. Jay asked him to leave and he would not. Jay was ready to apologize to Charles that morning but Charles was being belligerent. So Jay just took his payment for the repair and ask him politely to never return. Jay said the service took longer than expected because Charles allowed someone else to tinker with his bike prior to bringing it into Jay and screwed up a whole bunch of things. Jay have an awesome work philosophy. Nothing ever leaves his shop broken. You've got to understand that in the 2 years that I have been dealing with Jay and Alfatech that I am only ever treated with the greatest of respect by Jay and his staff. If anyone ever wants an electric scooter or even a gas scooter, Jay from Alfatech is the only person in Kingston that you would ever want to work on your scooter. Jay is the foremost authority on Vespa Repairs in Ontario. His only competitor is Daymak and they never want to do repairs. They are only out to sell you a product and nothing else. Jay offers everyone a full one year warranty, parts and labour, front to back, batteries included free of charge on all new scooter purchases. I go back every year for a check up and he's the best man for the job. So, judge Charles for the type of person he is and come and visit Jay at Alfatech for the best experience in Scooters that you could ever have.

I wish for NO STAR for Alfatech inc. I bought my Ebike from him for $2800 and it was damage second hand bike. 2 days after I found out the same Ebike Kypro x7 was sold for $1800 in Windsor Ontario brand new. I was upset. But not the best part. The Ebike never ran right been in his shop many time. The Battery are not good but I think there more wrong then that. They tell me I can drive 60 km before my battery is dead,. Well today it was dead at 17 km. I was riped off of a $1000 dollars and the Ebike don't run right. Please check the product before you buy it because you may be hurt like I was and the only thing I wanted is a good Ebike. To bad for me. Thank You Jay
