 The little detour is definitely worth it if you are in the vicinity of Whistler.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're looking for an impressive waterfall with no crowds and easy to get to, Alexander Falls might be the place for you. Located about 15 mins from Brandywine Falls, there's no hike required. Just drive to the parking lot lookout (ample potholes included but not too bad). Fairly quiet here and the viewpoint gives you a good look at the falls.
