This is the worst court house I've ever dealt with . The clerks at the front gave me wrong advice ( that actually cost me in court)and a run around every time . And one crack head looking lady is the rudest lady . Its like everyone's first day at the front desk

No reduction on traffic ticket, the radar doesn’t have any tolerance when the max speed is 60 if you drive 70 you be ticketed

Anytime I have went to the Stony Plain courthouse, has been a pleasant experience. What works for me, is if you treat people nicely and with respect, you will experience the same. A few years ago, I had requested some documents, and I left a card on the front counter. As they had my phone #, they called me. I wouldn't of know I lost it, until I had to use it. I can comprehend with them as I deal with the public as well. Great Job to all those there. Thank you

I just called the main line as I had been re-directed there from Service Alberta to find out information on a past speeding ticket for an insurance quote. The person I spoke with at the front desk was EXTREMELY rude and abrasive. She kept cutting me off and then would say "well you didn't tell me that"... Hard to tell you something when you don't let me finish my sentences! I realize you deal with all sorts of people but as a front line contact, you should have some common courtesy and learn how to be polite.

Parkland county has too many cops and not enough criminals. The end result is that residents get harassed by police on their way to work. If you live here you will see evidence of this regularly and you may even find yourself at the courthouse regularly paying fines as well. It's all due to too many officers working traffic shaking you down for your cash. If you live here and just want to be left alone forget it. You will be harassed almost yearly. They will find some error to profit from with regard to your mobility and that is sad because mobility is a major hallmark of freedom. We have the peace officers, the Sheriffs and relentless parasitic photo radar, all who have nothing better to do than sniff around and profit from residents who miss their sticker fees by a day or victimless traffic infractions in areas where there are no problems. Police seem to be left unchecked to profit from residents where warnings would be better suited, and of course far fewer police doing traffic. This breeds disrespect for the law in the eyes of even the most pro police residents and we take notice to how they are carrying on out here.....be warned, not a nice area to live.

The clerk told me that it was a waste of my time to go see if I could have my ticket reduced or dismissed. My friend went into the office, the same day and they dismissed her ticket for the same reason. I went in another Day to explain to them what happened and they basically said they can’t help me and that they didn’t do that. So apparently now I’m a liar. Unbelievable. I am a single mom trying to make it and that ended up costing me $380.
