K	Kiri M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My buddy recommended this place to me back in 2019, and even during COVID, even though they removed their membeership, even though they stopped providing paid samples, I still go!!! This review is a couple years late, but maybe it's a good thing because I can attest they kept their standards and business model stable all throughout the changes since they've opened. They carry a little from various distilleries and breweries around, including local ones like Burrwood, Annex Ales, Eau Claire Distillery, and more from "not too far away", such as Med Hat Brewing, Sawback, Analog, and Whistler Brewing. I'm very impressed at their selection both in growlers and not. These guys definitely help you open your eyes to what's out there, while supporting "the little guy".

Their deposit/growler system does not allow you to leave the deposit there, so you receive your deposit back an forward depending of the size of the growler that you choose (depending on their availability)... Some days you feel like getting free beer but other days it feels like paying three times the regular price.

And to go into more details: it was my first time here, and Eric (the manager) was extremely helpful in helping me find what I needed and his tremendous beer knowledge was seriously IMPRESSIVE! I stepped into the store not knowing what I wanted at all, and he made excellent recommendations based on what I was looking for. His passion and knowledge for beers were practically oozing out of him (in the best way possible, of course!) Everything in the store was extremely organized, neat, and I loved that the beers were organized based on styles (which makes it so convenient!) And FYI, they also sell wines if you’re not a beer drinker. I’m happy to say I’ll be a return customer. I’m so happy I found this place!

Knowledgeable crew, totally happy to help and enable you. I suggest you do the following- let that crew just sherpa you to a variety of beers for you to shotgun or savour. Just go. Be open minded and try something delicious and relatively local.
