★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Same as the westbound side except make sure that you go to the south staircase as you can't access the eastbound train by going to the north stairs. Heated, and has an escalator for the flight of stairs in case you have luggage (Greyhound station nearby) or are mobility limited.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Has a lovely view but lots of stairs, there's an up/down escalator inside, as well as an elevator, but the escalator up to the platforms only goes up. Be warned, transit cops hang out here on occasion to check for payment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There needs to be a fare for 20 minutes for $1 instead of 90 minutes for $3.50 not everyone lives on the edge of town, my commute is 7 minutes down a few stops, why do I need to pay full price?
Also this station needs a sign out front showing the next train times, not just on the platform. Half the time you're walking up to the station you don't know if you'll miss the next train or not. If you miss it it takes less time to walk to Kerby where it's free instead of waiting 10 minutes for the next train.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sunalta station is one of the most a esthetically pleasing of all of the Calgary LRT stations. It is high, however and if you are taking the stairs you may be out of breath by the top. However, there are easy escalators and even wheelchair accessible elevators to get you to the platform.
