★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst experience ever. I will never hire this company. In my opinion, their lead shop Forman Jordan is a childish fool at best with zero communication skills. Measuring skills of a pre apprentice and should in no means be running any jobs. They will use the wrong sized vents and piping along with oversell you in all equipment needed. Not one man there has proper training to be called a sheet metal worker. The business is built by overcharging for services, unneeded or oversized equipment, and by taking advantage of the fine people of Port Alberni.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The technician Garry came to my house to service a heat pump and replace and service two water filters. Very professional, knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. He even had the required part in the truck. I would definitely recommend Alberni Refrigeration.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jeff replaced my furnace at my lake house. Assessed the problem, quoted the job and replaced furnace within 48 hours. All on time and exactly as quoted. I'm from out of town and Jeff routinely updated me with phone calls, texts and photos of the work progress. Great service - great work - highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These guys are amazing. Our AC broke down the sunday afternoon before the 43 degree day. We called monday morning kind of expecting they will be able to come and fix it maybe tuesday or wednesday. They were there Monday at noon and fixed the problem. just amazing, thank you so much!

We came upon a leak in our hot water tank this morning, and they sent someone within 4 hours to replace it for us. Cameron was incredibly professional and worked efficiently and did an incredible job. We are so happy with the service and will call on them again and again when needed. Thank you for a job well done!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Alberni Valley Refrigeration installed a new gas furnace to replace a vintage 1970 oil furnace we had. Our house was a mess from renovations, We had 3 angry dogs, and the staff were fantastic! Jeff Findlay came out to take photos and measurements, told us our options, and gave us a timely quote. Out of 3 possible companies who came to do that Jeff seemed like he was the most honest and transparent and cared the most. When it came time to getting the furnace installed, it was installed way faster than I expected! They sent out a crew of 5 professional HVAC guys who actually asked me questions and involved me in the process. They actually took the time to properly hide wires, run the gas line and water line where its not an eyesore, and they even caulked the siding properly afterwards. They cleaned up all their garbage and took away the old oil tank which we didn't want to deal with. They did a great job with running the intake and exhaust and even did it with regard to the renovations! I can't say enough good things about Jeff and especially the crew that came to the house and did all the hard work! The furnace is working great and I am very happy. Don't waste your time, call Alberni Valley Refrigeration. :)
