★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped by for takeout after visiting the hole in the wall hike nearby. The food is absolutely delicious and the sushi is super fresh. Lunch specials are an amazing value!
I'm from Vancouver where there are pretty high standards for Japanese food, and I can confidently say that this is better than most sushi that you'll find in Vancouver. The outside looks a little sketchy but the food is so good, highly recommended!

From the outside the place brought concern, but once entering the food and service was bar none. Delicious and high quality sushi with nice presentation and a great price. This was certainly an unexpected find and will be coming back every time I am in Port Alberni.
Get a pint of the Swedish Gymnast to wash it all down.
