My spouse thought it was good as well and wanted to try it again. We both ordered the cod and chips (1 and 2 piece). On take-out, the fish comes wrapped in paper. I forget the type of paper (not newspaper), but its neatly wrapped where the fish does not touch the fries. I thought it was cool they did this. The fish was tasty. Nicely seasoned, not bland like some other fish and chip restaurants. The outside was crisp and the meat was moist and tasty. The fries are thicker cut and again done well. Not too salty and definitely complements the fish. Both portions were of good size as both of us could not finish our meals. Based on the images from the internet, it looks the owners must have sold the business. Cannot say when the new owners took over, but nonetheless, taste and execution were excellent.

C	C Mok on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s been a while since I have been back here. Ordered take out on June 2, 2022, 4 pieces of cod, fries and coleslaw. Came out to $30. Fries were hand cut and good. Pieces of fish were decent sized. Service could be better. The two females working that shift seemed completely disinterested in actually working. When my order came out, I asked if there was tartar sauce in the take out bag. The lady said no as I had not ordered any. I’m sorry, but when I order take out fish and chips, there should be tartar sauce. The lady said I had to pay for the tartar sauce. When you dine in the restaurant, you don’t pay for tartar sauce. They provide it for free, so why is it that they charge you when you do take out? Not sure I would go again.

The people who took over have not changed the recipe, thank goodness. They have maintained the previous standard. If you want the best fish & chips ever, this is the place to come. Fresh cut french fries, crispy light battered flaky fish... never greasy.
