A bit too much mayo and the spicy sauce was too sweet for my liking. But otherwise it is average-good sushi for an ok price. Good location next to the cinema if you want to grab a quick meal before your show. Not that much seating in the store.

It was delivered complete with a ring of fire around it that stayed lit for a while after. It even had a decent amount of lettuce at the bottom for a complete meal. The staff was friendly and efficient. I will definitely go there again.

We ordered two Bento boxes (beef & chicken), sashimi combo, vegan roll, gyoza and gomae. Everyone enjoyed their food, which was hot, fresh and tasty. We also received a complimentary crunch roll (photographed). We had lots of leftovers for an afternoon snack. Definitely will go again.
D	Dylan Couper on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've probably eaten sushi nearly once a week for the last 20 years so I'm pretty hard to impress at this point, especially since I usually eat at the better places in downtown Vancouver. So when I say Waka Sushi would wipe the floor with 95% of the Vancouver sushi, I mean it. I'm not snobby, but Langley is not known for sushi. I dropped in for lunch, not expecting much and just going for a bento box. I did a double take on the size of the cuts of sashimi. I've never in my life had cuts this big. Each one was nearly triple the size of what I'd expect. Everything was prepared perfectly (and amazingly quickly) and was so big it had to be brought on an additional tray. The food I saw on other people's tables looked amazing, and if it tasted like it looked, Waka Sushi is hitting way above its price range. This is in the top 5 sub $20 places I've ever been to, if it's like this every time. DISCLAIMER: I did notice some one star reviews for this place so it does seem like your mileage may vary on the day, it was not busy when I was there and the service was perfect. This may or not be the case when you go, so take my review with a grain of salt. I'll have to give it a few more tries.
V	Virginia Jacob on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We enjoy every visit here. I got the chicken bento box and my partner in crime grabbed the Waka house salad which he raved about. My son loves their California rolls and only eats those when we go here. They greet you when you arrive. The staff is gracious and helpful. They try to be fast but it gets busy with take out and eating in (good sign that the food is great). I recommend it. AND it's right beside cineplex so great for before or after a movie too

Lunch box was a good value. The tempura was tasty. We enjoyed the salmon and avocado roll. The only thing missing was the spicy mayo and extra ginger we ordered.

Everything was super fresh, very tasty, colorful and served by the most attentive staff we’ve experienced in quite some time. The price was very reasonable and the portions were more than adequate. Easy place to find and park. Next time we’re in the Vancouver area Waka Sushi will more assuredly be on the agenda. Highly recommended
