Y	Y Shi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My kids went to this resturant today to order an appetizer and two soups. apparently a lady from the resturant had refused to provide service to them for some reason. my daughter was trying to ask them why and clearly the lady was not ready to provide one. I understand this resturant is now with a new owner, so maybe they had some kind of new rules against small orders? we have been to this sushi place for many years and even during the pandemic in order to support local business, but now i am in a big question of continuing doing such.

The servers are very knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to the menu. They are also so friendly :) I find the prices low with high quality. If you are looking for a great atmosphere, check this place out!! I have gone about 10 times and never have had a bad experience.
J	Jelena Krutaja on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good and cozy sushi place in Walnut Grove! I was not expecting much, but this place surprised me. Welcoming atmosphere, very tasty sushi, with lots of stuff, thin rice layer, fresh good quality fish and reasonable prices. Even so their Yaki udon was ok.

The special rolls were all a bit sauce heavy but not too bad. The seared salmon roll was probably my favorite of the bunch but it was just some seared salmon on rice. Some of their lunch combos included a skewer of yakitori which I rarely see in these restaurants. Pricing is similar to what you'd expect from a place in West Vancouver, take that as you will. I liked the interior decor of the place. Overall, I don't have many complaints about the place... but nothing popped out at me either.

Perhaps its my fault for assuming that assorted nigiri plate would consist of more than 3 types of seafood while 2 of them being Shrimp and Salmon(cheapest cost) . The tuna looked like it was ready to go bad any time soon. Around 90% of all sushi restaurants gives you unagi, hamachi, otoro, and etc on the assorted plate for that kind of price($19 95!!) but it seems this restaurant just wants to rip you off assuming that the customers dont know their sushi. Btw, the roll on the left doesnt consist of all the ingredients they say they put. I am a sushi lover so... its up to you to decide whether to go to this place or not but that picture for 37 dollars? Never again.
P	Pop YT on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The customer service in this place is very nice. They serve the food very quick even in busy times like lunch (students like to come here at lunch). The food quality is amazing. I've tried many style of beef teriyaki in the lower mainland, and I can safely say that this is the most tasty beef teriyaki that I have ever ate so far. Affordable too! --- For the review that said they didn't serve the children or the boys. That is either false or there was another reason behind it. They always take your order no matter how small or big it is.
M	Maria Chevalier on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time back ordering food from here in over two years. Love being able to sit in the booths. The tea is great and the quality of the food is still the same. Really yummy and fresh! I got the tofu teriyaki along with a bunch of other things. So delish!
