β β β β β My friends and I wanted to try something different for dinner yesterday and wow, were we in for a treat! While very similiar to Indian food, we were pleasantly surprised how tasty everything was. The perfect amount of spice, all the meat was cooked perfectly as well as the rice and everything was super flavourful. Definitely recommend trying this place out to anyone!

β β β β β I almost donβt want to write this review because I donβt want anyone else to know about how insanely delicious the lamb roast is. But there it is. The lamb roast is the BEST lamb I have ever eaten. Itβs the best Afghani food Iβve ever eaten. You seriously wonβt be disappointed! Lovely friendly service and a very clean restaurant as well - but wow the food!!!

β β β β β My friend recommended this place, he goes there because the food is all halal. I went there with my girlfriend to try something out of our comfort zone.
We parked in the Richmond public market lot and it was free.
We walked in, no reservations requires. Restaurant was half full on a Saturday night but lots of take out orders were stacked.
The place has great middle eastern aromas when u go in. They have booths to sit in as well as some where u can sit on a Persian rug on the floor which looked interesting. My back was tweaked so we went for the booth.
We had beef shank with rice eggplant and grilled lamb, with Naan bread which was more like a flat bread. There were some great sauces, a tangy yogurt sauce and some kind of spices sauce.
The food portions were large and very reasonable price. Legit $$.

β β β β β Good Afghan food experience. The appetizers are good we tried all three and all were delicious, Mantu was the best.
The food was tasty, Qabeli was the best! Especially the rice ??
If your host is Burga, then you be sure that he is taking care of everything gratefully although he is super busy and doesn't have anyone besides.

β β β β β Never had Afghan food before but this place was a fantastic advert for the cuisine. I had the chopan kebab combo and it was great - the only thing I didn't like was the salad.
I'd definitely like to return to try the other things on the menu

?? It looks more like a family business and the whole place is handled by a server named βBurgaβ who is fast and precise in taking orders and delivering them properly.

- Manyu & Ashak for appetizers
- Chopan Kebab (is a little chewy)
- Tekka Kebab
- Assorted Kebabd (to try 3 different kebabs: Chicken kebab, Shami and Tekka Kebab)
