I had a similar issue with wanting to disconnect my current system and Lorne walked me through the steps without even charging me anything. If/when we decide to replace our system with a new model I am going straight to these guys because the experience was great and they contact you right away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the most wonderful customer experience with Lorne! My old alarm panel in my house was beeping and i couldn't get it to stop. I knew the battery needed to be replaced but i didn't think it was something i could do myself. Especially since i couldn't find the alarm control box in my house to start with. I phoned Affordable Security and Lorne was able to guide me through the steps to change the battery myself, after i stumbled across the box while i was on the phone with him. He was super helpful and patient and knew exactly what to do. It is so rare (in my opinion) to find good customer service these days (also coming from an ex customer service veteran) and it completely made my day. 10 outta 10 Lorne, keep doing what you're doing! :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm giving this place 5-stars on the basis of excellent customer service, as well. I had a similar issue to another reviewer and called around to ten different alarm system installers and electricians for help. Lorne actually picked up the phone, gave me some initial guidance, and then later walked me through step by step how to resolve my alarm issue (once I could get in front of the terminal). I don't know many people who would wait on standby for someone that isn't even a paid subscriber to their services. If I decide to setup another system, I am calling Lorne - he's earned the business, for sure! Thank you again.
