I started BJJ at the Affinity Academy in February. It was a challenge for me to get started because I was afraid and quite anxious. It was something completely new to me and I thought maybe I wouldn't be strong or "tough" enough to join. From my very first class until now, everyone has been so welcoming and very supportive with one another. The Academy is a very positive and family friendly environment. Our Sensei's Andell and Clifton are professional and very knowledgeable of this art. Classes are well structured and quite challenging, which keeps me coming back for more. BJJ is beginning to change my life in many ways. I take pride in being a part of this team. I will be forever grateful and will continue to be humble learning this gentle art.

The staff's caring and inclusive attitude to its members, along with the high quality and varied styles of instruction in BJJ technique, is what makes Affinity Academy a pleasure to train in. Practitioners come from all walks of life, and I love meeting different people and engaging in the common activity of BJJ.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Affinity is a great jiu jitsu academy! Professor Andell and all of the coaches are passionate about the sport and committed to helping all students learn and improve. It is a very welcoming environment - anybody showing up willing to work hard and try to improve is welcome on the mats. There is great camaraderie amongst the students and coaches alike. It is a great place to get stronger mentally and physically, and to be part of a community where everyone is committed to helping one another get better.

Professor Andell and coaches Nathan, Nick and Jack have been tremendous. All the athletes who train are supportive and the atmosphere is incredible. We work hard during each session, but we have a lot of fun. As a new comer I was welcomed by everyone. I love BJJ and my best days are the days that I train. I would recommend Affinity Academy to everyone, regardless of age, ability or experience. Thank you Affinity Academy! OSS!
