I've been training with aerial antics for a couple of years now and have loved the coaches and atmosphere in the gym. They foster a fun and playful environment while still taking safety seriously.

The instructors were amazing and I enjoyed classes very much, but I really did not like the owner's attitude. The administration failed to update their website and automatic email replies after a lockdown and confused me about the class start date. Both the website and automatic email replies stated that the studio was closed on the date the classes were supposed to resume. Because I live in Carleton Pace and it is a looooong ride for me, I trusted the website and email communication and did not go to the class that night. However, it turned out that the class started and I missed my class due to poor administration on the studio's end. Because it was Aerial Antic's miscommunication that made me miss the class that night, I asked for any other one-time drop-in class or open practice to make it for the lost class as this would not add any extra cost to the studio and would let me enjoy the class I paid for. Nevertheless, the owner was rude and refused. When I tried to defend my rights, she gave me attitude and cancelled my membership...A note: I had been a member of the studio for over a year before the incident and had been supportive all that time. I had lost another 2 classes in the previous lockdown before that incident and never received credit/refund after the restrictions were lifted and classes resumed. One thing is when the business can't process refund or credit due to the hardship during the pandemic, but it is a totally different story when the administration fails to inform their students about the class start date and doesn't even try to make things right. Shame on you Aerial Antics. I have been with another studio (there are quite a few in Ottawa) since then and their customer service & administrative support are outstanding.
