We weren’t informed of the $7 game fee until payment, when I’ve gone to other board game cafes they usually waive the fee if you’re ordering food which was surprising that they didn’t. The desserts were probably the worst things I have tasted and costed more than they would at a fancy restaurant. We arrived at 10 and saw on the website that it closed at 11 but the server said she wanted to close early because we were the only customers so we only stayed for 30 mins and couldn’t finish our game. We basically paid $55 for 2 desserts and a drink for 30 mins of time. Save your money and go to a different cafe if you want your time and moneys worth.

Loved the ambience and service!! Staff are super energetic and excited to help you out.... Unfortunately I visited at a slower hour... next time I'll visit when its a bit busier hopefully so I can maybe find a D&D party to join...

Really awesome place to hang out with your friends or like-minded peers. Pizza was really good and they have an assortment of old-school game consoles and tabletop games. Hope to return soon. ?

Great local business! I celebrated a friend's birthday here and it was a fantastic time. Good selection of games. The owner was awesome and helped accommodate a food allergy.

Hands down best cafe I've been to in Kitchener. The French Vanilla shake tastes awesome and comes in a very cool glass. As an avid table top game player this place was like heaven with the great aesthetics and large range of board games. The staff and community are super friendly and make you feel comfortable. I suggest visiting on Wednesdays to join in on some of the games and try something new. 10 out of 10, would visit regularly.

No more sandwiches, but there's pizza! Also, a neat selection of beer, including Blood Brothers when I visited. Wall-to-wall boardgames and cozy atmosphere, it's a one-of-a-kind place. The staff are pretty rad too! Super good time for the first time since the start of the pandemic.

A perfectly fun date night with my wife! They had a section of games specifically for two players separated for ease of finding, and when we came in, I asked for a recommendation, and received a quick but thorough rundown of Onitama by the fantastic staff member. We loved the choice, and after a few rounds played another excellent and unique game (Odin's Ravens). We also ordered cocktails (Ent draught and Jean-Luc) and they were excellent, then ordered a pretzel pizza to take home, and my wife and I loved it. The crust was SO tasty! We had a night away from the kids for the first time in forever, and the theatre options weren't appealing, so we picked this on a whim. It was just a wonderful time, and a great break from the regular dinner-movie shtick.
