I read great reviews about them and most of bad ones talked about losing personal belongings! I mean lol why would you leave your stuff in vehicle when u'r selling it?!Actually they're professional and pretty different than others and staff are friendly and respectful. Filled out the application, dropped my car and was sold in next week and received the check in mail. The way they receive your vehicle you know its in safe hands.You won't get the best price out of your vehicle's value cos they sell only to dealers, which is good in a way, but honestly it's worth it then rather bringing strangers to your house and waiting weeks or months to sell it, and they all come to you questioning your honesty!.One tip is not to collapse on first bid you receive ? you have 3 weeks of offers. I refused first week offers and got good deal on first day of next one.read less

Dave is very quick to getting back in emails and phone calls and is very professional and super helpful and was great with all my questions. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The shadiness that comes out of this business should be illegal! The fees have sky-rocketed, their sales manager is a joke, nobody returns phone calls and they treat you like garbage. Do yourself a favor and steer clear! I wouldn't recommend my worse enemy to go there.

As a private seller, can't ask for anything more. They did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it.
That, is rare these days.
Now, if we can get them do to houses . . .
Seriously tho, +1 would do again.
Four Months later, (now April 2022), contacted Dakota to sell my Wrangler and - boom, done. Just like the first time.
They did it again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ By chance I found out thru a friend in the car business that Adessa were auctioning off my vehicle that I had advertised privately on Kijiji & Autotrader. They had it on auction WITHOUT my consent or any contact with me. How a company can get away with auctioning off someone else’s private property without the owners consent is bafflingly to say the least. No wonder phonecalls/interest suddenly stopped from my ad. Potential buyers seen my vehicle listed at a discounted auction price…again without my consent!
Thank you Adessa for screwing me out of a potential private sale, while looking to get paid for doing it.
You should be sued for unethical business practices.
