Tiffany greeted me when I arrived with my vehicle and took my paperwork. Lars told me the first auction would be on a Tuesday and he called me Tuesday to say he had an offer on my car. It was a bit low, so I asked him to counter the offer and he called 10 minutes later to say my car was sold. This was so hassle free, I would definitely use Adesa again.

But wasn't comfortable selling it in auction because of what I hear about auctions until my friend recommended trying Adesa and he was right. I read great reviews about them and most of bad ones talked about losing personal belongings! I mean lol why would you leave your stuff in vehicle when u'r selling it?! Actually they're professional and pretty different than others and staff are friendly and respectful. Filled out the application, dropped my car and was sold in next week and received the check in mail. The way they receive your vehicle you know its in safe hands. You won't get the best price out of your vehicle's value cos they sell only to dealers, which is good in a way, but honestly it's worth it then rather bringing strangers to your house and waiting weeks or months to sell it, and they all come to you questioning your honesty!. One tip is not to collapse on first bid you receive :) you have 3 weeks of offers. I refused first week offers and got good deal on first day of next one.

Had an underused vehicle I wanted to sell, and they prevented all of the headaches I was going to go through if I sold it privately. They even let me pay a small premium to have a driver come by and pick up the vehicle so I didn't have to take time off of work. Turned a process I wasn't looking forward to into one that couldn't have been more painless. As far as sale price goes, you obviously aren't getting quite as much as you'd get in a private sale, but I also got way more than I would have on a trade in. I expected to lose a lot more than I did, given that they sell to dealers, so that was a pleasant surprise as well!

But if you have to deal with Arbitration Department personnel at Adesa, they flatly lie to you and twist their regulations to their likings, simply put rules apply differently to different people. They just decide however they feel that day with total disregard for the customer! Non-knowledgeable Arbitration Personnel, rude and arrogant.

Everyone seemed nice but the moment they brought the vehicle out and let us get our things, you could tell someone went through the vehicle before allowing us to access it. Had some tools missing, brand new. Whoever drove the vehicle out is who I suspect took them and that's why I had to wait so long before allowed access.
