I purchased a 2015 Chevy Trax from them a while ago and the vehicle is great I only had 1 issue with it ,this concern of mine was NOT of a safety concern but rather cosmetic and much to my surprise didn't they take care of it for at No Charge tell me how many dealerships would do the same.When they safetied the car originally they went over and above to replace things that didn't need at the moment but could be a problem for example the car battery and better tires again people it didn't need it but Mr.Achilles said..do it.I mean check them out and give them a chance if your looking for a car ,if there this particular about a used car immagine how they would be with your New Mazda ....oh one more thing the staff is Awesome...cheers

Very unhappy after being a long time (13 years) customer. I had been going to Achilles Mazda since I purchased my new 2008 Mazda 3 from them. The past few oil change fees were quite expensive (now over $100) and when I mentioned this their response was 'compared to what'. I said that I realized that they use mazda specific parts but I also wanted to do a caliber brake cleaning and asked if they could give me a discount seeing as I've been taking my car there for 13 years and have done ALL my service with them. I forget who I spoke with but they had zero regard for my customer loyalty and told me I could shop around for prices but I wouldn't find anything much cheaper. I think things have changed in the past few years such that you are just another invoice to them, no longer a valued customer.

Defensive Behavior is a barrier to communication! - Gary Chapman "People get mad and defensive about certain topics when they know they are guilty." Before giving a 1 star, I checked some reviews here, on dealerrater and otherwise just to check if I am being harsh but I do agree with some other reviews and the trend. While I had left 5 star reviews and feedback in the past when they served well, things have changed and it is fair to let the cyber community know either way. My first ever car purchase was the best experience in 2012 when I stepped in the dealership to hand over the check and pick up the car. All smooth. Kudos. But my first lease buy out turned out to be an absolute nightmare. Sales (or maybe the one I was dealing with) has changed now to just get business. It was persistent and not pushy but worse that he turned hostile once he found out the deal was not closing. Did not respond on time that could have jeopardized my lease buy out and costed me late fees. Got rude on the phone when I highlighted and fed his side of story to the Sales Manager who followed the path and showed similar attitude. They started giving me a hard time asking me to call each other and the leasing company to deal on my own. I won't name him in the hope that he realizes and changes. Nobody including sales manager or owner tried to find out the truth other than just believing the salesman's story blindly. They instead sent emails with a tone as if I was being unreasonable. The same dealership removed some fees during my first purchase because it was not necessary but this time they stayed adamant for a similar fees. Worst was that with just 1 working day left to close, they suggest me to shop around for another dealership or pay whatever they quoted. The service department squeezed in an appointment for safety certificate (which by the way is 20% more than some other dealers) and gave me a time and mentioned it takes ~90 minutes. Cut two - I take time off my work and on the counter told that I will have to leave the car for the whole day, take Uber both ways Brampton Milton. Phew! It feels bad because they were great people and I paid comparatively higher in all my services (which usually had to be booked much in advance) in the last 10 years just because of the initial expression matching other reviewers - that they are nice people. In this case they might have temporarily satisfied their ego and became defensive for their own team by giving me a hard time, but in the process they lost the last safety certificate service, the lease buy out fees and all my future buy/lease and servicing business. I wish them luck and see the positive that I can look beyond them and get cheaper and better services. I hope they turn out to be the old Achilles Team.

I recently purchased a used 2018 GMC Sierra at Achilles Mazda of Milton. As I was coming from out of town I called ahead and spoke to sales person Gerardo Minotti. When I arrived the vehicle was ready and available for me to take for a test drive. Gerardo answered my questions and concerns. He did not pressure me into a sale. When I returned to pick up my vehicle Gerardo and business rep Laurie Ann Campbell had the vehicle and all documentation ready for the transfer. The process went smoothly and any questions I had at the time were answered. My overall experience at the dealership was very positive .

Terrible service by the sales department. I have never felt more insulted by sales staff before and having my time wasted. The service department was better but not enough to have me return to Milton Mazda. I have owned 2 Mazda's before and got my mother to purchase a Mazda. I am no longer going to be a customer of Mazda due to the terrible waste of time I went through. If you decide to purchase a Mazda I highly recommend not purchasing it from Achilles Mazda in Milton. Especially if you are a woman (I felt I was being hustled and treated like I was clueless). I asked valid questions which they gave me false information on to try and get me to make a quick decision. Extremely disappointed.... March 30, 2022 - An update to my earlier review. When speaking with Achilles in regard to my experience at his Dealership he listened to my experience and understood the way I felt. I do hope it will be used for training purposes with his team. Achilles wanted to compensate me for my time and experience so I requested he donate money to a Women's Shelter. As this is likely a much different request then most people would ask for I wasn't sure if he would. However, I was happy to see an email from him today with a $500 donation as I requested. Thank you for taking the time to listen to me and follow through on the donation.

I just wanted to take a moment and recognize Derek Mandy. From the moment we walked into the dealership he was nothing but friendly, informative and generally interested in helping out without ANY pressure. I don’t recall the last time we went to a dealership and didn’t have a salesperson chasing us down to buy a car from them. Not only was he extremely informed about all the features and benefits he was able to talk to a detailed level with my husband and totally geek out about this car. We both throughly enjoyed the truly friendly, no pressure approach. In other dealerships they make you speak to multiple ppl so everyone can try their pitch to sell you stuff. He didn’t do that. He was with us from start to finish. Very professional, informative and amazing customer service. Highly recommend you go and see Derek for your next car! Thanks Derek!
