We had their doors installed in our new home, they have not worked properly since day 1, have had 4 service calls to our home and still nothing resolved. We had an appointment scheduled for them to look at it again 3 weeks ago, they cancelled on us and still have not rescheduled. We will be going elsewhere!

They were very friendly on the phone and within half an hour, they were working on our door. Within an hour they were done and they even oiled the wheels and hinges. Very knowledgeable and friendly repairman. I highly recommend this company!

We've had many problems with the door and they've had to come fix it multiple times. This last time I called them in July the service man came and needed to order a part. Ive called them around 4 or 5 times since then to remind them, this past time (5 months later) I was told they thought they had already fixed the problem. Apparently warranty only lasts 1 year, I am now concerned that the door I've purchased is faulty and I will be stuck with fixing it after warranty is over. They were supposed to come today (december) but apparently the service man is sick and isn't coming in. If I could do it again I wouldn't go with ace.

K	Kim Annis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a great experience with Ian and Clint at Ace Overhead Doors. I had a faulty garage door that would not open or close all the way. They sent Clint to review and found it was the Liftmaster garage door motherboard that was likely faulty as all troubleshooting steps were done, including changing the slack etc, reviewing the eye mechanisms and inspecting each part. Ian called back with a quote and options, and found a less expensive solution, explaining the differences between belt and chain garage doors. The price was exactly as quoted, and they caught a few flaws with the original installed mountings, showed the evidence, and got my permission to fix the other doors for a hour or two of labour. Everything was above board and now all my doors work properly. My wife had to work night shift, and they were extra careful not to wake her - which was another positive experience.

Smart enough to know to order over month in advance of when I wanted installed due to Covid and everyone suffering with not enough help. Today, as booked ahead of time, John came and installed garage door. Very nice polite man who explained everything he would be doing. He did an excellent job. Definitely recommend this company.

Had a new door ordered and installed very quickly after our old door totally failed. The technician was skilled and accomplished the task quickly and efficiently. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. We highly recommend this company.
S	Sara C on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Where do I start? Extremely poor communication. Accepted a job in Sun Peaks, began a work order, then communication on his end stopped. When I did reach him, I was told he would call me the following day. No call, so I text messaged and left a voicemail. Silence. Our realtor called on our behalf and magically, he answered! She was told he would be up that week as he had another job to do in Sun Peaks and would like to complete them the same day. Makes sense! However, 1.5 weeks came and went, no communication, not returning calls. Finally, my realtor again was magically able to reach someone -his wife. Who had no idea about the job and apparently they don't take jobs in Sun Peaks? Good thing he accepted the job and strung us along for a month, into the cold snap. Thankfully another company saw our job as an emergency and came up within a couple days (over Christmas holidays, might I add). Highly recommend you take your business elsewhere. Perhaps in town service is better, but I've found a top notch repairman for my needs in town and in Sun Peaks who I can confidently recommend.
