This company lacks a lot in business ethics. Their devious marketing practices leave a lot to be desired as well.
They claim to repair lampshades which is only a ruse to get you inside the store. I had two lampshades in great shape that just needed to be glued on again. They're not scratched, bend, tarnished or ripped. After being kept waiting for over two hours while the salesperson served other clients that came in after me, she finally declared that they could not repair my shades. Instead, she tried to sell me ( $875.00 each) new lampshades, claiming they're from Europe. However, from what I have seen while I was there, I am quite positive what they're peddling is mostly from China. She also showed me cotton shades for $60.00 a piece that is being sold at $17.50 at Home Depot.
As far as I am concerned, they're a total rip off.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a horrible place. As we have seen in many other reviews the old bag that runs the place is nefarious and morally bankrupt. Her lampshades run from $250-550 and are cheap pieces of garbage. In my opinion this shop is an an abomination. This review should also scare away anyone on a budget AND anyone with a lot of money to spend. I am not afraid to spend; my bags are Filson, my car is a Land Rover Defender and my camera is a Leica, etc. Custom lamp shades can be purchased easily for $125. This stores lampshades have crooked stitches just like the old bag who runs the place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good store for lamp shades, They also repair the more elaborate lamp shades. My friend has an expensive dining room light and the shade had seen it's best days. Instead of buying a new light, she had her shade redone for a fraction of the cost of a new light. It looks better than the original...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I now understand the low ratings… this shopping experience makes you very uncomfortable. Controlling staff: can’t walk where you want, can’t touch anything, no helpful recommendations. Oh and also overpriced… staff just seems annoyed that you’re in the store. Feels like the lamp shades are marked up and then given a discount which is just the original price. Would not support this business which is unfortunate as they seem to have a niche opportunity.
