Stayed here for 3 nights earlier this ski season. Like other reviewers have said, the price tag is completely not justified for the motel-like quality of experience. For nearly $500 a night, the room was quite small (just enough room for a bed, tiny coffee station and one chair). Bed was super comfortable but we could hear literally everything happening in the hallways and next door rooms through the night so we didn't sleep well. Staff were generally quite helpful but seemed overwhelmed. There is jacuzzi at the hotel but was so small and always crowded. Not a relaxing stay and hard to justify the price.

Overall, the experience at this hotel was very good. The place was clean, welcoming and the staff was friendly. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the pool/hot tub was very enjoyable. We got a great deal on our room and only spent about $900 for an entire week at the hotel. What's holding me back from giving the Hotel a 5 star review is that the rooms sadly do not include a microwave, so this forced us to spend our money elsewhere to buy meals, tea, coffee, etc. Having a microwave to heat up food or even a kettle to boil water would have helped us tremendously to save money during our stay. But regardless, I would recommend Aava to others looking to stay in Whistler, especially for a reasonable price.

We stayed between Christmas and New Years so it was peak pricing. We booked it as it was the only hotel left in the village with rooms under $1500 a night. We paid $500 a night, we were meant to stay two nights and left after one. This hotel has more motel type look and feel, the rooms in the booking photos look slightly updated but feels much different when you arrive(feels more like a motel). The walls were paper thin and there are lots of families in the hotel with kids and dogs running up and down the hallways making it impossible to sleep. They were nice enough to refund us the second night but this is not a $500 a night hotel, even in peak season.

Stayed here a few times in the past 3 years. Rooms are very well priced. They are clean and modern. Check in and checkout process is always smooth. Their parking policy is very flexible (park any time on day of check in, leave by 3pm on the checkout day)! Best of all, it is steps away from the core of the Whistler village (close by and away from the noise at night)!

The hotel itself is in a great location, overall good amenities etc, but even during peak season it's not worth $500/night, not even close. We booked 3 nights with some friends who got a separate room. We were on the second floor right behind the elevators which were corner units. The walls and floors in the building are paper thin, you can hear everything at all times of the day. The heat/AC units in the room are incredibly loud as well. It started snowing last night and there was this loud what sounded like water draining with rocks in it coming from the walls. Being a corner unit, it looked to be coming from the gutter downspout which ran behind the wall. It was so loud all night you would have to be heavily medicated to sleep through that. Overall it feels like the building was poorly constructed, and should be more of a 2-3 star motel/hotel charging $150-200/night MAX during peak season, not the $500/night we paid. Our friends in the opposite corner room had the exact same complaints. No restful sleeps on any nights. Rooms were also very dusty. Definitely would not recommend staying here unless it's offered below $200/night during peak times.

Property was located in a great spot. Views from the room are great too. However, we weren’t made aware of the amenities of the hotel - we did not know there was a hot tub and a sauna, which we would have gladly used! Figured it out after looking up the hotel post our checkout. Rooms are very modern, unfortunately - extremely dusty, lots of dust on the doors and the surfaces. We did ask for it to be cleaned up, but it did not happen. Great for EV vehicles as it has a Tesla charger in the basement - for free. Parking is a bit steep at $22/night - but considering you walk out of the hotel and into the village, it makes sense. Couldn’t ask for a better location of a hotel. Great experience, might not return due to the dust issue that really messed with our allergies.

Big spacious rooms with TV and coffee making facilities. Very clean too. The hotel is a 2 minute walk away from the centre of the village which is great if you want a quiet peaceful night's sleep. The hotel itself is basic with no restaurant or bar and the pool/spa are outside but well maintained. I love this place and it suits are needs perfectly.

We had booked two double rooms for 7 people. David the front manager made sure we got another room that was more comfortable as a family. Him and his staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Becks in reservations was also super accommodating with all our changes to our reservations even helping out after our cancellation period was over. We had some issues with pushing dates because of COVID restrictions. Hotel is at excellent location from the gondolas, rooms are comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back. You can find other hotels with same location but the staff made all the difference for us. Thank you so much
