β β β β β An absolute gem of a place, I am happy it was recommended to me! They actually fix your alternator (not just replace it). Mechanics can't fix your alternator, they can only replace it, but these guys fix it for you. For my car, my mechanic quoted $445 for a rebuilt alternator, whereas this place cost me $245 all-in (+ tax) to fix it. I preferred to have my alternator fixed, because it was a high-quality version, which I didn't want replacing with a cheaper version. All alternators eventually burn out apparently. Bobby is a really helpful guy too!
The only thing I will say though, is just check everything is back in its place before you drive off. Mechanics sometimes forget that they loosened this and that sometimes, and that happened here unfortunately.
Update one year later: Alternator still going strong!

While the alternator tested okay but they spend the time to figure out what couldβve gone wrong with my charging system and walked through all the details. It was at the end of the day too. I went back and eventually followed the same steps and solved the charging issue. Great tips ans very professional.

β β β β β My Toyota Matrix's alternator died on Sunday. Drove and parked the car, returned the next morning as soon as they opened at 9. All work done, key in hand and drive out by 1230. No frills, exceptionally reasonable pricing, friendly staff. A friend recommended me this place, and I would like to recommend this shop to others as well. Thank you.

I had issues with my car, had been referred by a friend that there was a great place in the Edmonds area that was reliable, trustworthy and reasonable. I had brought the car in to get a quote - upon leaving my car wouldnβt start. They kept my car and had the starter replaced by the next morning. The owner is great as is the staff. Honest and reliable, efficient and reasonable. Their work is warrantied as well. Would recommended 100% - you wonβt regret it.
