Firstly, I usually don't go around maliciously give out low ratings. However, it does not sit right with me if I didn't warn others before they come here. The other day I wanted to order take out to celebrate a birthday meal with my friend. To my dismay they only had very few items on their menu now. I had previously dined in before and they would usually substitute half the rice with salad upon request. They didn't give me this option this time, which is fine.. but they didn't even have any salad available for me to purchase. Nor did they have the famed Persian dish, daisy. Reluctantly settled with a large share dish of combo Kabab. Upon pick up, the dish was $35 something with tax. When I opened the take out container, it contained 3 small, shrivelled up skewers. The meat as expected, was extremely dry. 90% of that dish was just the rice. My friend and I ended up ordering more dishes from another middle Eastern restaurant. The next day, before I let my husband eat the leftover rice with other foods, I called in to check for his food allergies. The two person at the phone was very impatient and did not answer a simple question whether or not the rice has butter in it. Partially might be language barrier, but the rudeness they had was clearly communicated. Today, I ordered similar dish at a food court... The meat was the same amount, but much much better, and it was only 10.99. I would typically give one star for a such a horrid experience, however it is covid times..I'll give them 2.

Ok, this may seem like a very small mom n pop shop and people might see the place and think it's a dive. Looks are deceiving right? I must say do not judge a book by it's cover!! I have to say this restaurant has the best Persian Kebobs that I ever had! I highly recommend the chicken, steak, and beef kabobs. These kebobs are cooked with perfection. The meat just melts and is the perfect tender. The meat is nicely marinated and will make you wonder how the cook prepares the meat because it is SO DELICIOUS ? The rice is good too. Not greasy. The Persian tea was really good. Served in cute glass ware. The only thing I didn't like was the salad dressing. Tasted like it was made out of goat milk? The bread is ok. Can improve on the Persian bread department. The price is very decent. For the kebob combo that has beef, chicken, and steak the cost is $25 that serves two. Good value! ? I highly recommend trying this place out.

I don't usually order food an hour before closing. I thought they closed at 11pm based on the hour of operations online, but I found out later it was actually 10pm closing. Even though it was close to closing, this family run business still cooked up an amazing combo platter for me. The combo platter had chicken, kebab, beef, tomatoes over rice. The proteins and tomatoes were perfectly grilled with right amount of char. The meats were tender and juicy. I was only going to eat half and save half for tomorrow, but I ended up eating majority of the entire plate and fell asleep in food coma bliss. 10/10 I would do it again.

Great kabobs at reasonable prices. Owner operated small restaurant, with friendly service and great food to boast. The food was delicious, so much so that I went back in less than week. It's a 45 minute drive for me and I was not disappointed the second time either.

Great food. The place could be brightened up a little more. An updated menu and more lively environment could definitely help. Decent location. The halal meat here was delicious and the portions were alright.

Food and portion was much better when it opened. With the pandemic and inflation, prices are much higher with smaller portions. Tastes will depend on the dish you order and the date and time you go (e.g. busy hours, you are likely to get overcooked food). The chicken breast this time was tender, not the barg steak was chewy and not the freshest meat. Options for middle Eastern food is limited in the area, so this place is likely popular, especially with takeout. Interior is a bit drab and dingy with limited seating. Table looked like it wasn't wiped (dried rice on the table). Personal preference, but I would rather have similar cuisine either in North Vancouver or Coquitlam, as the tastes, portion and prices are much better in these two areas.
