Best, best, best falafel EVER. Lentil soup is amazing and also vegan. They make their own hummus, sauces, etc... Great dudes, great food and service. I am only angry they won't give me their secret recipes lol, No soup for you! Thanks, friends.

Delicious food and courteous service. It can get busy especially during the evenings. Had to wait more than 20 minutes for my order - but the person manning the point-of-sale threw in extra free drinks with my order. And that is how you get repeat customers! Will be definitely going back to this place.

I used to go here regularly when they newly opened, since I worked right beside the store, but quality, portion sizes and their friendliness have gone down over the years. They're terribly slow in service and don't feel the urgency to complete orders when there's a line up outside in the snow. They wouldn't greet you in anyway, and totally ignore you for good 5 mins before they take your order. Their portion of meat/chicken is wayyy smaller compared to the price that you are paying, but with poor customer service they would still expect tips from you!!! Food still tastes good and fresh, but I would avoid wasting my time here and rather support some other struggling small business.

Makes me sad to say this: 1) they did not wear gloves today BUT we saw them wear handle 2days prior - watched probably the owner put a wrap inside the paper with his hands after hearing it up. This was not my order. Right after that used the same hands to put utensils in the plastic bag. Then he refilled the utensil holder with the same hands with more plastic utensils. The utensils were too much and it spilled on the counter and he picked it up and placed it right back into the utensil holder. His partner also handled the cash registration after preparing some falafels. I wish I didn't get to see this but apparently this was the day the did not want to use plastic gloves. Sadly we always opt out for servers who don't wear gloves. We did not want the pitta bread and other side dish :( I'm sure it might have tasted good. 2) they get the order wrong - probably just a communication error bec of the mask. Can be managed by just shouting a bit since the music is running in the background. To compensate with the wrong order the guys just made the order but with more portion and said sorry. Good customer service, he said sorry. Other info: No washroom, they wear facemasks, no free/back parking, only 2-3 chair dine in, Uber delivery, fast wait time, efficient, staff were pleasant to talk to and not arrogant at all. Food was good! Falafel balls were very big compared to Highgate Donaire. The taste is a bit less spicy and I assume this is due to their customer's palate. They do offer spices of the sides if they want to make it more spicy, cz their normal spicy is an acquired taste to some. That's about it since we didn't opt for the pita bread cz they didn't use gloves. I will probably try to buy again from here if they have better cross contamination protection. I want to like this place but please wear gloves and don't cross contaminate.

I find it very difficult saying "no" to a good shawarma... I recently found this tiny place called Zaaki in New West at 6th and 6th and gotta admit that it's becoming a personal fav. I've tried their chicken shawarma and mixed platter and the prices are good value. Meats were tender and I appreciate the tabbouleh and other greens. The place is cash or debit only.

The food is good for the price the meat was luke warm. The only thing they could be a little friendlier and understand Gluten free a bit more. They did not seem to concerned with our allergy.

The sandwiches are really huge, portions are generous, though a little pricy for a falafel wrap! The quality is acceptable and the taste is great. You just have to consider a little delay when going by car for the lack of parking, not easy there.

First time trying out the food from Zaaki. Ordered chicken shawarma platter (reg) and Kunafeh for take out. Service was prompt and the place is busy. Food was delicious and tasty, the dessert is a must try! Definitely going back.
