★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always knowledgeable and professional staff willing to help students and professionals alike involved in emergency services (bring ID for perks). General public would likely enjoy their flashlights, boots, pants and other high quality work clothing available.
For anything police or security related expect to show ID. So don’t make the drive down just to try and purchase restricted items without being able to show proper documents/authorization/professional need.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Helpful and enthusiastic staff. Gear is pricey due to being one of the only brick and mortar stores in Calgary providing gear for emergency personnel. Discounts for gear are available for emergency personnel (fire, police, EMS) Store is tidy and clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1/2 of the 511 Tactical pants I have bought there over the years have snap buttons that break quickly. Usually in the first month the snap button on the front stops working. Obviously a manufacturing fault due to poor quality control. It would be fine if the pants were cheap, but it's just the snap buttons used that are garbage on an otherwise well made product.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place if you are looking for boots, vest, knives or any other gear that you will need for your line of work. Prices may be a little higher that some places but they usually have a pretty level of stock. Highly recommend to anyone even wanting to just check it out.

It is SO nice that I saw zero sexism and they don't try to pressure you into buying the most expensive items or accessories/accoutrement you don't need. I'll be returning loyally for all my duty-related needs.

Often they have proposed cheaper items then what I was originally seeking. Recently I had some items stolen in the mail that was shipped form 911. They worked with me to ensure I was reimbursed. I was updated continually on the progress of restoring the stolen items. Great work Triffan.
