Awful management. Serious mold and water damage to apartment that they refuse to do any repair on. Apartment is dangerously hot, stuck at 32 celsius and they refuse to turn off the heat. Don't consider moving in here if you care about your health or safety

I love residing at 66 Isabella St. right from the leasing to the building maintenance is so good as a rental property, you have everything like a condo. I stayed in this building and came back again when I moved back to Toronto. Pilar Yusti have been a most efficient Leasing Agent and a wonderful person who can be reached anytime. The Supers in the building (Maceba & Larry) are superb and any maintenance request are attended on time. I am very happy with the building and management and no wonder I came back to the same place when I moved back to Toronto.

Update: the service has improved in the past few months. I’m increasing my rating from 1 to 3.5, thanks to their responsiveness and commitment towards making this apartment safe to live in! Previous review - Poor service, unresponsive management, no concern for tenants. Our apartment had broken lights, too much heating when we arrived. You need to call the housekeeping 4-5 times to get something fixed. Worst experience ever, DONT make the same mistake my roommates and I made.

Rent a unit in the west tower if you love paying way too much money to be constantly infested with Cockroaches. I even see them in the building’s stairwells and elevators. Management refuses to spray the whole building or even a whole floor, so it will constantly be a problem of roaches spreading. Absolutely despicable.

It used to be ok living here but with the condo being built at 55 Charles st it’s gotten so noisy. In the summer too being down the street from the shelter you would have people yelling up and down Isabella st in the middle of the night. The walls are also pretty thin - you can hear the elevator from the bedroom sometimes and good luck if you have upstairs neighbors with toddlers because you’ll hear all the footsteps.

I lived here for 4 years and it was the worst rental building I have ever lived in. This building is noisy. The walls and ceilings sound paper thin and you can hear your neighbours all the time. You can hear tenants using the chute room, even with your bedroom door closed. Neighbours also throw parties that you will hear clearly right through your wall and it's even worse when the parties spill out onto their balconies. The neighbourhood is noisy, there is a church down the street that helps the homeless but many camp out there and get into loud screaming fights up and down the street on the north side of the building. It would happen every week, all summer long. Maintenance requests were the worst. Example: I spent almost two months waiting for my busted washer/dryer to be replaced with excuse after excuse from management. And that was before the pandemic. Building management did not seem to care to address issues the entire time I was there unless the issue was super basic. They even made a big show during the pandemic of putting sanitizer dispensers on all the floors and then never filled them up. Not once. I even mentioned it to them verbally and over email but they remained empty. They only filled the dispenser, evey now and then, in the lobby. It was usually empty as well. There is no security in-building. You have to call them. Good luck with them showing up in a reasonable amount of time. Homeless would sneak into the building all the time. I caught the same guy sleeping and urinating in the cramped chute room multiple times and I had to ask him to leave. Also caught a guy licking my elderly neighbour's door. Another was trying door knobs to see if the doors were unlocked. I asked him to leave the building. I believe the only people that had any sort of work ethic in this building were the cleaning staff and the leasing lady. The rest seems clearly disinterested in the building and tenants. They changed out the management a few weeks before I moved out in the summer of 2021. Things may have changed but I seriously doubt it, especially since I caught one of the new staff shamelessly cruising women in the lobby multiple times before I moved out. Anyway, after a year of dealing with constant noise from a neighbour above me and other neighbours around me throwing parties, persistently barking dogs, and management not addressing issues, I had enough and moved out. Good riddens. Even if they paid me to live there again, and gave me free rent, hell would freeze over before I would do so.
