50 Edgewood Estates - Winnipeg

First and last month free rent is a scam. Do not fall for it.

Very poor service, Elevator is always broken down, 6 months to get blinds put up in my bedroom, 1 year to get bulbs replaced in the hallway. The Police making regular visits to the building, and a staff that is somewhat indifferent to it all and lack appropriate customer service skills. Avoid this one if you can. This place is the worst The employees don’t even do their job properly. The neighbours in the building are mean. I would give a 0 if I could. I don’t recommend this place at all

I contacted the office to cancel the parking spot last Wednesday, April 28, well they said I was too late because the cut-off day is the 20th, okay fine. But I requested to cancel the next month, they said okay we will cancel your spot next month. I also requested if they can advertise my parking spot for someone else who needs it, and they can pay me cash back as I paid via EFT. So they agreed. Then today is May 4, I contacted the office again and follow-up with them if someone is interested in my parking spot. GUESS what? they said nope, you had to be responsible with your parking spot until your lease ends and they did not receive any cancellation about my parking spot. In back and forth, they said they wanted in writing. WOW, such a UNPROFESSIONAL management team. I WAS there and talked to them they confirmed everything is okay and I don't need to do anything. today I called to follow-up and they said WELL, it should be in writing. IMAGINE ? if I don't call them to follow-up, and within another month, I need to pay again because I don't put them in writing????? they are not nice at all, they behaved like everything was my fault why I WAS there and talked to them in person. I can easily put in writing if the day I was there, and now they argued and said that they needed in writing with the angry voice with me and did not apology at first for their mistakes. They just made my day with their mess. I DONT recommend this building to anyone as the rent you paid is for luxury apartment, but the service is just so much poor. You have a ton of options out there, it may be better service than this building I'm sure. They are awful I can say, no customer service knowledge. If you don't want to deal with the headaches, please DON'T choose this building.

I have moved into 50 Edgewood Estates just over a month ago. This building is considered luxury units. The view I have from my unit is absolutely gorgeous. My family and friends that have popped by has described it as a "million dollar view"...and I find I admire the view from each room at different points of the day. My unit has large windows that allow for a lot of natural light. The layout makes it feel very spacious. The kitchen is also designed great. I never feel crowded and have ample space. There is concrete between the floors so I absolutely never hear my neighbors. I find my unit so peaceful that I often forget that this is apartment living. The lobby and hallways are always clean. I also find they do a good job of keeping the garbage area clean. My experience with the rental office staff was and continues to be positive. They were prompt and helpful. They were very accommodating for myself and my partner... actually far beyond expectation. The residents in the building that I have crossed paths with are all so kind and neighborly. I find a lot of diversity in this building as well. Lastly I feel safe in this building. There is great security on site that watches the entrance on camera. If you are considering this building, I personally have nothing but positive things to say about it. Just a happy tenant with a happy home at Edgewood for her family.
