Had amazing experience living in 180 Switchmen. The ppl running the building are super friendly and helpful. Would love to move back one day.

This is a pretty solid apartment building, the units are new, the layout of the bachelor is a bit unfortunate as it only has a single window and becomes incredibly hot in the summer, and there is a distinct lack of storage space in the unit, mine is crammed full of various boxes and containers. However, the management is professional, renting the apartment was straight forward, and the building manager has promptly answered any questions that I had, so I would recommend the building if you're looking for an easy rental experience. Regarding the neighbourhood, I'm a bit disappointed. I don't drink, so the plethora of craft breweries nearby isn't really interesting for me, and Olympic Village seems to close very early.

I lived at Switchmen Street for 2 years and I loved the building. It was really well managed by Leslie and the rest of the Bosa team. Unfortunately due to working from home we needed to move to a bigger space and are now in the Bosa 4 Rent in Coquitlam. Thank you again!

I rented a second floor unit from September 2019 to September 2020. Pros: - Unit was very nice and modern. - Pets are allowed. - The rooftop patio is awesome, we enjoyed hosting friends and family there. - Great area. We explored nearby craft breweries, restaurants and had evening walks along False Creek. - Although the gym is small, it has everything you need and I was usually the only person in there, which I really appreciated. - BOSA took COVID-19 seriously and amenities were reopened at an appropriate time. Cons: - Building lacks a storage room. - Unit gets really warm in summertime. - Very noisy, this is alongside one of the busiest roads in Vancouver. - At least once a month our water would be shut off for hours at a time for repairs. I've never been in a place where this problem happens so frequently, this shouldn't happen so often for a new building. - Securing a spot in the bike room was a big hassle, requiring multiple emails and phone calls to management. - We had one instance of exterior windows being cleaned without management notifying us, which invaded our privacy. - Elevators are not optimized for the new COVID rules of 1 group per elevator. This often means waiting in the lobby for 5 minutes just to get to our unit one floor above. Stairs are not accessible going up.

My girlfriend and I had an overwhelmingly positive experience here. We moved in 2020 and stayed for a year before moving cities to pursue schooling. The location is fantastic, conveniently located between the two major subway systems to access the rest of the city. The very pretty seawall is walking distance. There are a wide variety of restaurants along main street, in yaletown, and in olympic village that are very close by. Management and staff were all great. The building manager was regularly available and kind, and the higher up administration team for lease signing was responsive. The few times we needed maintenance/repairs, they were done quickly. The buildings amenities (like the rooftop patio, shared common area, the free rentable umbrellas) were a fun bonus that we frequently used. Best of all, there was a genuine attempt to create a community atmosphere in the building (even during the COVID pandemic). The apartment itself was small but modern and attractive. There was ample closet space in the bedroom and a queen bed fit in comfortably. We had a lovely view of east van and the mountains. The appliances all worked well and having in-suite laundry and a dishwasher is a luxury for Vancouver. The only negative I can think of is that the rooms tend to get hot because of the large glass windows that only open a little. For the summer, this made a difference. Make sure to bring some fans or a portable AC and you'll be fine! I would wholeheartedly recommend this building to anyone interested and if I end up back in Vancouver, I am going to try to move back in.

My partner and I moved into 180 Switchmen back in 2019, some months prior to the pandemic so we got to enjoy the area before the lockdown. The building is located in False Creek with breweries within walking distance; Main St. shops up the road which were ~15-20 minute walk (not an issue for us). The Building Manager Lesley was awesome, communicative, and kind. Whenever we had an issue (which was rare) she was available to provide assistance. There's a small gym which has all the basics you need to get a good work out. We needed a bigger space (lived in a 1 bdrm) and wanted to move out of Downtown; and loved the way Lesley and the BOSA team managed the building we decided to move to another BOSA location in Coquitlam. Only downside was you could only use the stairs to go down (doors locked behind you); there was no option to go up the stairs to your floor. The building is pet-friendly which is a huge bonus! Overall we really enjoyed our stay :)

My wife and I had a pleasant experience living here. We loved our compact but modern apartment. It has everything you need for a comfortable living. We liked that it has a washer/dryer, rooftop amenities, biking storage, and underground parking. Also, it was great that you can quickly connect with a building manager using their app. It was pretty easy to use. The building is conveniently located close to parks, restaurants, grocery stores, and public transportation. Lesley is a building manager there. She’s a very kind and attentive person. She was always available to quickly resolve any issues we had. We want to say thank you to the Bosa For Rent team for making our stay unforgettable. I recommend the place to anyone. P.s. The only two things worth mentioning. 1st is that the place can get hot during the summer, so you need an AC. 2nd - It can get noisy when you open your windows because of the main street right in front of you.
