The superintendent of this property is super nice!! so that is an extreme bonus!! Would definitely recommend this place to people looking fro a nice place to live in.

Constant construction the entire time I lived there, expect all the dust, fumes and noise imaginable. Starlight (the actual owner) hires the cheapest contractors available and these guys have zero respect for covid-19 safety protocols. Lock your door because they will try to enter your unit unannounced and without explanation (petty theft). Frequent water shut offs. The heat fails every winter due to an old boiler they aren't willing to replace or do proper repairs to. Our unit went down to two degrees last year. Only got ~$100 compensation to pay for a space heater after complaining (but not the cost of electricity. This occurred during the first intense cold-snap of 2020 and 2021. I suggest getting your own electronic lock since many contractors have keys, but also the ground level windows do not secure. Some bugs/moths in the old walls. Sterling Karamar doesn't care about any of the above and would prefer not to retain tenants long-term so as to maximize rents.
