Speak their own language over my head. Irritable to hear this all the time while working with my hair.

During my last two visits, the lady in charge of this place has ignored my presence, and only greeted me as I stepped in assuring me it would only take a few minutes before she would cut my hair. I sat down and waited for 50 minutes. As she finished with another customer. I got up expecting it to be my turn, but to my dismay, she ignored my standing up and called over the other customer which arrived over 30 minutes after I did, to which I got up and left. As I left she called me and told me it would only take a few minutes, but I Ignored it since obviously it would not take a few minutes. The visit before that one once again involved me walking in there, and being told that it would only take a couple minutes. This was an hour before I received my haircut.
It's understandable that people make appointments, but the turn-off was that she didn't even bother communicating with me during my two 50-minute waits. If she says 'Oh, sit down, it'll only take a few minutes," find another hair salon around the area. The rates are all the same.
I will not return here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been a client of Sean at 128 for just over a year, brilliant service every time. The staff couldn't be more friendlier and services are very fairly priced. My hair always looks amazing when I leave and I've never been disappointed. Would highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just had my hair cut by Eva. I think she is the proprietor. Very good expert cut. I have curly hair and she did a great job layering. By the way, if you haven’t been to Victoria drive lately, it’s worth a visit. Lots of interesting stores and eateries. You can walk down Victoria to 36th and visit the SPCA thrift store- always something worth buying. Eva’s prices are super reasonable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rushed cut, and I didn't feel like my stylist was really listening to my hair style concerns. Was going to return, as my hair was not as short as I like(or as short as I had requested) but thought better at the last minute.
Won't go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Asked if they take US dollar, they said yes. Thought they would notice the different between the two currency, but no. The whole thing was 165, gave them 200 USD and they gave me back 35 CAD :)). I told them 200 USD=252 CAD, check now on gg. They told me for them it's all the same and next time if I want to make my money worth I should go to the bank before I come :)) okay goodbye no see you again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poor service and quality. The cut took about 10 min. I felt rushed, voiced my concern, but they didn't seem to care. You can get the same cut for half the price in the neighborhood. Will not go back again.
