She knows exactly what she’s doing, very knowledgeable and giving you what you want without damaging your hair, which is a big deal to me as I have a really difficult hair to work with. I'm so glad that I have found her as a hairdresser and a really amazing friend. Also a great Salon with lovely staff, highly recommend for advice on hair products. Thanks guys! Great job you all.
K	Kristen Maki on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One would expect that if you’re overcharged by a business the response would be a forthcoming refund, and possibly even a brief apology for the mistake. Not so at Zennkai Granville. I purchased two items on Sunday Nov 21 and realised that the discount advertised next to the till had not been applied. When I went back to enquire a few minutes later I was given the explanation that ‘the computer is supposed to apply the discount automatically but it didn’t’ (no apology though) and that I would be given the balance in store credit as they do not offer refunds (yes, even when it’s their mistake). There could be no override of their policy because the manager wasn’t in that day. But, apparently the manager is ‘never at this location’ and not schedule to be for the next month, and so I would not be able to return on another day to get a refund. Eventually, I was given the name of a manager at another location that I will be following up with (though this information was only given because I asked, it was not volunteered). I will update with the outcome after I have spoken to the manager. TLDR: Zennkai overcharged my (by their own mistake) and is refusing to refund my money.
K	Karishma Prasad on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I moved to Vancouver from San Francisco last year after I got married. I was very sad to leave my hairstylist for 20+ years. I came across Diane's posting and IG page. I reached out to her and she was prompt and informative. She works at two Zennkai locations so scheduling was a little difficult because she wasn't able to look at her schedule and front desk at Granville put me on hold for over 10mins. However, I called back and the receptionist booked me in. Diane was such a sweetheart and it felt like we knew each other for years. I asked for long layers and curtain bangs. She delivered! My husband, in laws,family and strangers all gave me so many compliments. I am so glad I finally found a hairstylist in Vancouver. Thank you so much Diane for taking your time and working your magic!

That being said, here is my review: I enjoy a haircut, but have weird hair that kind of goes where it wants to go. I like a hairdresser who listens, shares expertise, but in the end looks for what you feel good with. And then there is Diane, who does all this with a great vibe and even more talent. Go to this place, ask for Diane, have a great cut, feel happy.

Was going to pick up some Moroccan oil and got an education in my hair type, a better version of the product for me(the light version), and a better deal on the product than I was expecting (promo on a larger size). Many good experiences picking up hair products here.

I always use services from Zennkai because they have the best staff. My hair had extreme damage however he was so gentle with my hair, I didn't feel that he was getting rid of dreadlocks, it felt like very soft treatment. Service was very smooth
