Best Grocery store in Canada

C	Chelsey Horton on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easily accessible entrance and exit especially for those with wheelchair access. Wide selection with wide rows of produce and Pantry. The starbucks is also easily accessible and widespread. Clean and tasty produce avaialble at the front.
R	Ruth Cooke on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Whoever made the decision to do parking lot renovation in such a way as to completely block off all but the most difficult exit from the store should be fired immediately. Avoid the store at all costs while the parking lot is being done. I won't be too quick to return afterwards, either.

It's large, well lit, has plenty of space, nice staff here, products are all neatly placed, lots of variety and everything is in stock, plenty of ethnic food choices and parking spots outside too. It's spacious and was really enjoyable to shop here. One good thing I really appreciate is that they discounted the prices of vegetables that seemed a little jaded. The other full priced veggies and fruits looked really fresh. I also noticed that other customers seemed quite 'civil' and neat also. Just a good overall vibe at this store which I really enjoyed. I noticed the prices are often a little higher than other grocery stores. That's the reason for the 4-star; otherwise, this store would have be a 5-star. BTW, this store is HUGE. I was also very impressed with the variety of baked goods available. Most of the items I bought today was on sale. Today was my first time here and I only picked up a few items. I will return for a full grocery shopping excursion and see how prices compare. The one little knock on this store is that the staff often appears too much in a hurry to offer help when I ask. I asked a guy in a tie one time and he sounded rather dismissive and went on his way to the back with a piece of paper.
V	Valentin Tudor on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to Zehr's to get a meal for home; I chose "Bucket #2", with Fries, Fried chicken pieces, Tenders and Chicken Popcorn. I was told by the employee working there that they didn't have any regular Fried chicken pieces, only spicy. I asked how long it would take to make a batch of regular, and was told 15 minutes. I originally thought it was too long, but then I decided to stay. Other people came to get dinner; I reminded the employee that I was waiting for Bucket #2. After the 15 minutes the Fried chicken was done. The employee started to fill the bucket, and when he got to do the Chicken Popcorn, he told me they didn't have any! After I've been waiting for more than 15 minutes now! All this after a week before, same location, for the same Bucket #2 I had had to wait for 15 minutes for chicken tenders, and they didn't have enough fried chicken! It was 4:45 - 5:00 pm, when people come to get dinner, and they were not even close to being ready to serve!

They have a lot of merchandise there that you cannot get anywhere else but their prices aren't the best and they're online delivery is very spotty. Sadly they're serving a clientele that doesn't really exist anymore or have transitioned to Costco. Guelph and pretty much the rest of Ontario are too destitute to shop at such a open well-maintained and welcoming grocery store.
V	VJ VEL on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love the ambience in the store. Clean, spacious, well lit and tidy. Gives a premium shopping experience and the take out good section has lots of great options to choose from on the go for working professionals. I love stopping by this store whenever I am in the area.

It was but oh boy.. the shelves were stocked, the staff stocking the shelves were polite and offered to move out of the way while I reached for something. As we waited in line to cash out the line went fast. I unloaded my groceries and the manager asked if I needed my bags packed, he had just finished packing the customers bags before me. He even looked upset when I said no I had it. The staff were friendly and joking with the customers. It was refreshing and I will be back. Thankyou...

The chance of you saving money on any particular item is pretty low, as the difference in price between the discount chains of the same company can be as much as 50 percent. Access to more unique items helps male up for it, but wouldn't ever be my primary grocery store.
