O	Owen Davies on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not worth the price, very outdated. Room was clean, minus the used bar of soap and used shampoo in the shower. Very poor maintenance and repairs. Lamp is rusty and tarnished, but it works fine. Temperature in room was perfect. Draperies were installed incorrectly and dangling off the rods, had clothes pins holding them on. All appliances worked fine. Door handle is always conveniently locked and security latch was in good repair. Bed is rock hard and very uncomfortable. Pretty sure I have slept on concrete floors softer than these beds. It snowed 20+cm last night and walkways were not shovelled and parking lot not plowed by 08:05, worst hotel I have 3ver been to.
P	Peg Yuen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have NEVER stayed in a place so gross in my life. Having a dog, it can be challenging to find pet friendly accommodations - especially on short notice. The staff was very friendly but the room itself was disgusting. It smelled like a barn, the furnishings were outdated and in desperate need of repair. And don't even get me started on the bathroom. For $150, I felt violated! I can hardly wait to get home and shower. Do yourself a favor - sleep in your car.

J	Jonathan R on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What this motel lacks in charm, it makes up in musty odours and dirty (or, benefit of the doubt, stained) sheets and towels. Hair on pillow, cigarette burn hole on sheets made me contemplate sleeping in car. Allergy-prone travellers, abstain. This was not one of the "clean rooms" that this establishment purports to offer. This place is more expensive than the far nicer hotel we have booked for tomorrow night. Avoid.
C	Christine M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Upon several weeks of reflection re: cross Canada move (AB to NS) with a 2 y/o Shepsky, I have to honestly say this was the MOST expensive yet WORST place we stayed. First, the dog friendly room is at the back of this cement walled building bordering a forested area adjoining the pulp mill. The path accessing the area produced 3 separate rough-looking individuals which immediately gave us concern for our vehicle safety as this area is NOT visible from the office whatsoever. The room consisted of cement walls, a cracked toilet tank lid, and a chipped tub I would not bathe our dog in. Upon complaining about this, we were offered a room at the front of the motel. This room again had grey cement walls, very worn carpet BUT the toilet tank and tub were not damaged in this room. Being late at night, we agreed to the new room so it's our own fault for paying over $150 for a night at this "prison" of a motel. I've rated the rooms and location a 1 only due to no option of 0 however, in fairness rated the service a 3. If management would update and fix their rooms and lower the $$$ due to being next to the pulp mill, they are very personable and will work with you.
C	Cathy Smith on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 25 dollars per dog! Most ever across all of Canada and this place Is horrible. We slept on top of the sheets because we were disgusted by the rooms condition. We were terrified by the thought of bedbugs. It’s not maintained. I’m 60 and this is the worst motel I’ve ever been in. Keep driving. Sleeping in your car is better.
