★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As I shopped last night I watched an 80 year old woman struggle to bag her groceries.
She's trying to be responsible and use reusable bags but staff refuse to pack them.
The elderly woman stated I don't or nor would I ever work at safeway.
Now safeway we've touched the bags yes but we also touched every item you've just scanned through your till
This is a ridiculous policy.
I've personally stopped using my reusable bags due to this .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My mother shops here frequently I don't understand why tonight there was a lineup to the meat section waited in line 45 minutes 1 cashier working they called in another kid who bagged groceries but everything and I mean everything was picked over she was only able to find 10 things she wanted and a normal trip would be about $350 worth of groceries what a poor job they do stocking shelves and employing cashiers plus the paper bags are very difficult to carry compared to plastic and they will not bag reusable bags for you will likely be shopping elsewhere after 30 years of being a loyal customer over priced most expensive store in town and by far the worst service and standards for any grocery store I have ever seen it has gone downhill

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A consistently poor shopping experience. There is never enough cashier staff and the express lane is rarely open. In forced to drive across town to pick up groceries if im on a time limit. I would like to come to this location to pick up the odd item but I can't justify waiting around for 20 minutes to cash out with 2-3 items. Please increase the amount of available staff and ensure somebody is utilizing the express lane

Pleaseantly surprised to see the manager checking, say what?Found most of the items I was looking for plus a Starbucks on my way out. Deli employees can take a little kick in the back and jump to the pump faster, other than that all good.
