Best Western Plus Dryden Hotel & Conference Centre

Great rooms, great staff. Restaurant has an amazing breakfast. A good place for a good night's rest.

Last time we stayed there ...there was a leak from the ceiling that woke me up in the middle of the night... they moved us and never heard a we're sry for the inconvenience... the next day we mentioned what happened...they acted like nothing had happened...we never stayed there for work afterwards because they never touch base back with us or her supervisor very bad customer service.... we gave the restaurant 3 chances because the 2 first ones were bad we said i last chance...and were not gonna be back there again

Positive: Best hotel within the area. Ample free parking and on main route. We used the restaurant for dinner. Negative: Restaurant service was a little slow, but may have been due to it being busy on a weekend.

It’s a bonus for us! We are BW rewards member pls join it you would not regret! The check in was so easy and we did all online. The front desk staff Wendy is professional and they are good helpful people. We were offered complimentary breakfasts and we got what we need. Awesome customer services. I can’t find anything to not compliment. The restaurant service is speedy and considerate. Our take out breakfasts orders received are accurate and timely. The only thing I like to comment is the carpet in the room do needs some deep cleaning. Our white socks became darken after walking on the carpet. They are green hotel which means they conserve the amenities and the energy saving fridge was off when we checked in. It just takes a little while to refrigerator be ready. The staffs are excellent and meet our expectations but the housekeep part can be improved :) and the washroom bath tub draining needs to declog again. It seems quite slow. Overall great stay and worth the $ we paid for. I tipped the front desk and restaurant server because they do a great job and just a small thank you from us. I feel for them who work and live around a Paper Mill there. The smell from a mill nearby was quite strong and We are concerned of our health and safety for ourselves and the rest of the Dryden citizens. We didn’t know such thing until we asked about the smell coming from. This is another issue the hotel cannot control but it is possible for anyone who stay there and smell this unknown gas nearby.

Over priced! No Complimentary breakfast! Unless a member. Rooms not worth the price! go to any other hotel... eg. Is Holiday Inn. will give you the same room for cheaper. Food at the restaurant fish came out of a box. The sheets were scratchy and uncomfortable Definitely would not recommend this place.

All I wanted was a clean place to stay for the night so I chose the best rated one in town, I was desperate so I paid what they were asking which was A LOT. It is very overrated. It's quite old, the pool is not open, the furniture is all beat up, the bathroom is depressing, the toilet wasn't clean, has 1 ply toilet paper, there is a hole in the wall, and some garbage under the bed. I should have kept driving, what a rip off. It has a microwave, that's cool I guess.

I am beyond disappointed and angry with this hotel/restaurant. Our room is right next to the entrance to the restaurant. We put our toddler down for bed and left the room with a baby monitor on. We can see/hear her at all times. We walked 40 feet to the lounge to order dinner. Within that time a waitress took it upon herself to call the police, citing child neglect. Our server gave us the heads up (and said this is the second time the same waitress has done this to a family). I returned to our room to sit in the dark/quiet while my daughter slept. Within 15 minutes a police officer knocked on our door, waking our daughter. When the situation was explained he said we have done nothing wrong and he would speak with the staff to clear this up. I am disgusted at this woman’s actions. She ruined our stay, and our road trip through this province has been soured.

The exterior and interior are in need of a facelift. The original room I was assigned had a badly cracked window - why is this room not closed off to guests? Or get the window fixed. The lady at the front desk was super helpful in getting me into a new room within a few minutes. The second room was clean enough, but the carpet smells like dirty socks - could definitely use either a change or a deep steam clean. All the staff I interacted with were courteous and polite. Which is why I gave 3 stars instead of 2. Location is convenient, so I guess that's another plus.
