Welcome. This is Zaika Biryani House. A family-owned and operated in Calgary, Alberta. Since opening in 2010, we've treated every customer like they were a part of our family. Other restaurants may offer similar services, but our services come with a personal touch.
The name Zaika refers quite literally as refined and urban food ambiance and this is the attribute behind the innovative buffet serving at Zaika Biryani House.

Finally i can say there is someone in calgary who can make biryani other than my wife...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Top notch food at a great price. Dine in or take out, buy a la cart, all-you-can-eat buffet, or catered platters. Buffet includes regular naan but garlic naan is available for a small extra charge but well worth it for garlic lovers!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best Pakistani biryani in Calgary and most importantly their reasonable price for family package is the best in town. I have never tasted this level of taste in any desi biryani restaurants across Canada either Indian or Pakistani.
You must visit this shop for their super tasty reasonable price biryani.

Would be good to have whole wheat bread naan, though. And to have grilled fish instead of fried fish in the platter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We organized a little family get together recently and what an amazing experience it was , top notch service, top quality food and the venue was just fabulous.
Nabeel the owner and his team made us feel like home, just on one day notice he got selected food ready and served fresh.
Everyone loved it and because it was a birthday celebration so he even played a birthday jingle in the background.
Its halal Pakistani cuisine and also serving Korean style fried chicken as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am not the one to leave bad reviews at restaurants but I ordered 2 boneless tikka biryani’s and small salad to go recently. I paid $30 and biryani had an extremely foul/burnt taste. It didn’t even remotely have a biryani like taste or smell. Almost tasted like you are eating bbq coals. Waste of money and time.
