Though neither I or Lucy's mom were allowed to go in, the receptionist had walked us through what was going to happen regarding her shots and such. When they were done, Dr. Norman had again clarified what had been done and was extremely friendly
D	Danielle GM on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Strong recommend. Been going to this vet for almost 2 years now since we adopted our rescue. My typically fearful husky Shepherd mix has no problems going to the clinic, even with recent restrictions due to COVID. I know at the beginning of the pandemic it was tough getting appointments since they had to reorganize their schedule. But I've had to book appointments three times in the last two months and two appointments were able to be booked in less than 5 days and the most recent appointment was booked next day. In comparison to friends and family that I've spoken to, pricing here seems to be very reasonable. So far I've never received any bill for an appointment that was uncomfortable or involved my husband and I having to make a tough decision. There's also been two appointments in particular where they gave us an option to pursue further with finding out what was wrong with our pup. Naturally, this would have affected the cost of the appointment and in both times the veterinarian was very sensitive and non-judgmental on the subject and did not pressure us to move forward with the procedure if we did not deem it was necessary. Almost in a way to be sensitive to the possibility that we may not be in a good place financially to afford the procedure. I'm thankful that my husband and I are in a position where we do not have to worry about that, but I greatly appreciate the level of tact and sensitivity that they use with their clients.

Apollo is scared of going, but they always are so kind and loving towards him. Highly recommend this vet.

After all our appointments, they have followed up via email or phone call to ensure my furbaby is doing well and are there to answer any questions I may have happily. My family has brought all sorts of pets here over the years, and I would absolutely recommend them! They’re incredibly responsive to all forms of communication and very helpful with answering any and all questions. I would trust my pets here any day!

They even did a follow up to find out if the he was OK after a day at home, post surgery. Very pleased. Will be bringing my puppy there next.

But Yorkwood has been fantastic with our German Shepherd baby from the beginning. She was due to get spayed at the end of January but ended up having an infection, it wasn’t until 2 visits later that the operation was able to be done which was really stressing me out. I wanted to say thank you to the whole team but especially Dr. Norman and Kennedy, they were so understanding, caring and patient throughout the whole process and calmed me down more than a few times, it means a lot. For anyone wondering what vet to choose, I think Yorkwood Vet is a fantastic choice :)
