I never tried the hummus as I like extra garlic and hot sauce in my the shawarma. The potato’s are also one of the best I’ve had. Make sure you get garlic , hot sauce on it. With so many shawarma places this is my go to and I’m never disappointed

The garlic potatoes were amazing. And I haven’t had a better Baklava before which is made fresh in house. Absolutely amazing ?

Their shawarma is done well, drizzled with fresh homemade sauces, fresh salads and homemade falafel/freshly marinated chicken, which makes this place stands out as compared to many other shawarma places. In this area, York Shawarma wins the game when compared with some of the chains out there that’ll charge you more for lesser portions and much lesser freshness.
J	JD on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do you love shawarma sandwiches? You won’t ever want another place after this. Every other place is just there to fill the void if you aren’t in the area (I live up north). Who rated this place lower than a 5? I’ve been all over Europe and tried other shawarmas and this is top notch. The guys are so nice and the portions are huge and so much flavour. They make everything in house. You just have to try it.

You guys need more people to work in the store. Otherwise you won’t be able to serve everyone. Fix this issue and then I’ll give a better review. This is my go to spot. Wont be coming for a while.
