Lenore's Mindfulness Class is exactly what I was looking for. It provides the opportunity to explore each yoga pose in detail while bringing awareness to how the movement affects various parts of the body. The emphasis is on ensuring that the pose is performed correctly, in a progressive fashion, rather than trying to hurry through a large number of poses. This class is ideal for anyone who is looking for a greater understanding of his/her body limitations and restrictions with the goal of reducing chronic pain and injuries. This class size is small, enabling ease of communication between student and instructor. Lenore also offers Somatics classes which are an excellent complement to her yoga classes. Somatics reduces damage to the body that has built up over the years by relearning how to move freely. It brings awareness to habitual muscular contractions which we have forgotten how to relax. My personal experience with Somatics has been dramatic. It has eliminated much of the chronic pain I have experienced during the last 25 years of my life. It has improved my quality of sleep. I am able to perform yoga poses with ease that in the past were difficult or painful. I highly recommend Lenore's classes to anyone who is interested in improving their quality of life.

Lenore is a lovely person and her yoga classes have a really good variety of sequences and poses with different themes every week and the small class size means lots of great personal attention

I started going to Lenore's classes about two years ago as my neck and shoulders were very sore and stiff. During yoga, I also discovered that my hips were quite inflexible. Initially, Lenore helped me to find a comfortable position when lying on a mat, using bolsters and blankets, so that I could take a 'scan' of my body without feeling tense before starting any movement. During the yoga portion of the session, Lenore would help me to move into poses that were achievable and worked with my stiffness rather that exacerbating it. I feel that the soreness has gone and my flexibility has improved. Lenore is friendly, very attentive, and as the class sizes are small, she is attuned to everyone's needs.Lenore gives clear instructions and examples as we progress through the session. I would thoroughly recommend Lenore's Yoga classes and Somatics classes which are a great complement to her yoga sessions.

Three years ago I experienced a personal β€œtrauma” and decided to practice yoga more consistently for my mental well being, along with the additional benefits of increased strength, balance and flexibility, to name a few. By chance, I discovered Yoga with Lenore. Lenore’s cozy home studio was just what I needed as a beginner... small sized classes, where my technique could be closely monitored to avoid injury and maximize the effectiveness of the poses. Lenore is a gentle soul, always upbeat and the consummate teacher. Three years later, I have considerably improved my strength, balance and flexibility but more importantly, I have the mental and emotional strength to forge forward in my life. Thank you Lenore!

Lenore is an amazing instructor. She takes the time to explain, is highly motivating, and knowledgeable. Small class sizes are a big plus. For me it has been life changing - I was in such bad shape and pain before - now I have so much more energy and flexibility. I even breathe better. Lenore offers yoga and somatics which are great to do together. Definitely recommended.

My wife and I have been regularly going to Lenore’s classes for about a year now. It’s been an incredible experience and we both feel so much better physically and mentally. Lenore’s classes are nicely structured to factor in everyone’s skill level, while ensuring a nice progressive system that ensures everyone advances and improves their yoga skills. She is a wonderful teacher with a wonderful personality. We highly recommend Yoga With Lenore. ??

I have taken one series of beginner yoga classes with Lenore, a few private somatic sessions and two sets of somatic classes. Lenore is a wonderful teacher, very clear in her instructions and directions, and she has created a very inviting and relaxing environment in her studio. I found the somatic classes particularly helpful. The slow and small movements really put you in touch with joints and muscles you never even knew you had! Highly recommended.

Lenore is a wonderful, vastly knowledgeable, guide, teacher and practitioner in healing movement. She embodies her work (although it is clearly a passion over work), and seeing her move is believing in what’s possible. I participate in workshops, classes and 1:1 sessions with Lenore. I was hooked from the beginning, knowing that Somatics with Lenore is the keystone to my own healing journey and exploration of moving freely, lightly and integrated…as we are meant to. Lenore is gifted in her knowledge of the body movement, in Somatics, Yoga, touch and understanding. I love her fun sense about it all, AND her commitment. Under her guidance and hands, I am both enjoying the journey and seeing results. It is also welcoming to know that I am learning another tool to help me get and keep myself well-tuned! I highly recommend exploring Somatics and Yoga with Lenore.
