I really wanted to try this place and was disappointed. I was disappointed they charge close to $200 for a consultation fee over video call, which isn’t covered by medical. For women, like myself who have spent so much money on fertility care it’s hard to keep up with all the costs. I did however book an appointment without an in depth consultation. Instead I received a 10 minute consult with an acupuncture session. The clinic was so noisy, I could hear conversations happening in every room which ruined the appointment for me. I might try it again but was told to bring headphones or they could give me ear plugs.

We went to Yinstill for 4 years for fertility acupuncture and I truly believe they helped make our baby dream come true. Junko was not only very knowledgable and helpful throughout the IVF process, the acupuncture she provided always left me extremely relaxed and rejuvenated. Her support throughout the process was often more detailed and offered more guidance than the IVF nurses and throughout pregnancy and pre-labour she continued to support me to have a healthy, happy baby :)

I’ve loved my experience so far at Yinstill! Everyone has been so kind and helpful and I know that my weekly acupuncture sessions made such a difference in my pregnancy! I am now 17 weeks and so happy to have such an amazing support system from Yinstill. I’ve worked closely with Moninder but also had sessions with a few of the other girls and everyone was so kind and helpful, and so compassionate! Especially big shoutout to Spence who I initially had my first online consult with. I probably wouldn’t have pursued my treatments if it hadn’t been for him. He totally trusted the way I wanted to do things and valued all the work and research I had already put in on my fertility journey. He simply facilitated the last piece of the puzzle for me with adding in acupuncture as another way to support my body to do what it was designed to do. I saw Lara for acupuncture, and honestly can not recommend her enough. After feeling so alone and hopeless following a consult with genesis fertility, Lara made me feel supported and nurtured in a way I didn’t realize I needed. I conceived after several months of acupuncture, and gave birth to a beautiful baby boy.

I rarely write google reviews about anything, but this time is different. My beautiful son was born in March 2022, thanks to the work and support of Junko and Katie Green. I've been seeing Junko regularly for about 1.5 years for fertility acupuncture and I look forward to every session! She is friendly and gentle with the needles. Then you relax for the remainder of your appointment in a darkened room with your choice of guided meditation, music, or nature-y spa sounds. Admin staff are all helpful and compassionate, too.

Had an amazing experience working with Elise at Yinstill on Main. I live in Whitehorse (Yukon), and this fall we decided to go through our first IVF cycle through Genesis Fertility in Vancouver. I had been working for a long time with an acupuncturist here in Whitehorse, and wanted to continue treatments while in Vancouver to support my body through egg stimulation and transfer, as I know it has been demonstrated to improve IVF outcomes. Seeing Elise during this journey was such a bless. Yinstill was my safe space where I could let go of everything while nurturing my body in a positive way. Elise knew just the right words to make me feel heard and supported. Her room was so cozy and warm during treatments (which was truly the best during rainy and cold Vancouver days!), and the meditation she had me listen to during treatments allowed me to go within and shed off some of the stress associated with IVF. Elise also provided me with a very thorough plan including diet recommendations and lifestyle choices to support our IVF cycle, which was honestly above expectations. She was accessible by email and always prompt on responding in between sessions. She really went above and beyond and provided stellar care. Even though I got to see her only 3 times, it made a difference for me. About Yinstill clinic in general: I really enjoyed the bathroom walls covered with hundreds of women's words about their fertility journey. At my last visit I finally wrote something too and contributed to the community ❤️I also liked the peaceful atmosphere at Yinstill - you literally transition from the busy and noisy Main street into this zen and welcoming nest where you can leave you worries behind. I am now 5 weeks pregnant following our first IVF cycle and I know that Elise has for sure contributed to our success ❤️ Thanks Elise - I will never forget what you did for me! Sophie
