Yins has gone downhill since the new owners took over - this isn't news. Ordered the poutine to go that costs around $7 and it can fit in the palm of your hand. You used to get a plate full when dining in. Why charge this much for so little?

We used to come here all the time. It used to be good, but now... everything has changed it seems. The general tso’s we ordered last night with our big meal was garbagé, it tasted like burnt bbq sauce with sesame oil. The egg rolls tasted like old old grease, the chicken balls had low quality chicken. Found gummy fat and veins within mine, and the stir fried rice was so salty. Tasted like it was cooked with ocean water. Also the Cantonese chow mien tasted reheated. The chicken and veggies were all over cooked. It really bothers me because we used to love coming here and ordering. But not after this experience, oh no no no no no

The menu online is very outdated. False advertising they really need to update the menu online. Ordered two normal dinners, (1A, 1B) two small wonton soups and two wings and it was $82 online it should have only been $60 according to their menu. The prices have to go up I can understand that, but maybe they should update it. Got back home 2 minutes down the road the food was cold, all the food was mixed together, the honey garlic chicken wings was like water instead of honey garlic, had pieces of pork all mixed into it, very dried out wings, the deep fried chicken wings were hard as a rock and dry, the rice was very wet and the chicken chop suey had a very sour taste. I must admit the food drastically changed when the new owners took over. We definitely won't be going back again

So disappointing nothing tasted good. At one time people would drive miles to enjoy their awesome food. New owners failed this place big time. We don't think it will be open much longer. Other customers agreed. This will be are last visit. Location in Port Dover is no better. Very sad.

I wasn't expecting much from a Chinese restaurant in Waterford. I knew it wouldn't be authentic, I just expected it to be your run of the mill nasty Canadianized "Chinese" food, but I was wrong. I ordered their 4 dish lunch combo for $15. Check out the picture. First of all it's all mixed together in one container. What I ordered was chow mein with crispy noodles, General Tso chicken, sweet and sour spare ribs, and lemon chicken. I'm guessing that the chicken sitting on top of the yellowish sauce is the lemon chicken. It's bumped up against the ribs so the sauce was all mixed together. The ribs were all mixed up the the nasty chow mein with no crispy noodles. And I'm guessing the undressed chicken on the right is the General Tso, but there is no sauce and the undersides were soggy from sitting on the chow mein soup. I should have known better than to try Chinese food in Waterford. I might have given them 2 stars of they had got the order right and packaged the items separately. I cant give them a 0 so they get 1 star.
