C	Christine Wheeler on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst service. Liars. So bad. I wish I could give a ZERO. Called at noon today to book a cab for 2pm. (I work in a senior’s home and a resident had an appointment). They say okay. 2:20 no cab here. I call again and am told 10-15 minutes. I ask why so long when we booked an appointment? He says they are busy. 2:45 still no cab. Employee calls and is told “we have no bookings for that address”. 2:50 still no cab. Office Manager calls. Told on its way. NO CAB EVER SHOWS UP! SENIOR MISSES APPOINTMENT! Why did the city allow the boo-hooing of the cab companies to shut out Uber? This is a constant issue at our work. Cabs are consistently late or don’t show up.
O	Olivia Akey on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I needed a cab to get from my hotel to my bus home, so called with lots of time in advance. I was told it would be 10-15 minutes for a cab. I waited 45 minutes, tried calling back multiple times but no one answered, and I missed my bus. I’m now stuck in Kamloops for a day, had to get a new bus ticket, and over an hour later a taxi has still never shown up. Unreliable would be an understatement.
J	Jordan Stevens on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When I called for a cab, a man answered saying "Yellow Cabs", I asked him how long it would take for a cab to arrive at my pick up location and the man hung up on me. This is not the first time but on several attempts the person was unhelpful and unbelievably rude by hanging up on me. After he had hung up on me I attempted to call them again but the phone just kept on ringing, obviously this guy who sounds half asleep doesn't want the business, nor deserves any business.
C	Carlee Arnoldus on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't bother calling if you actually need to be somewhere. We called at 4am Dec 31st to get us to the airport for a 6:05am flight. They said it would be 45mins, which would have worked out just fine. We called back at 4:50am and was told it would be there "as soon as possible". Called back at 5am, and was told the same thing. We were starting to stress out at this point, as we should have already been at the airport. Called back again at 5:10am and expressed our urgency and told dispatch we needed to know exactly when our cab would arrive, or if it was coming at all. He said 11-12mins. At 5:25am we had to make the decision to drive ourselves to the airport so we wouldn't miss our flight. We had to pay for day parking and arrange for a friend to go get our car. Their lack of regard, and communication was sooo frustrating. They were unapologetic, and did zero to inform of us of actual wait times. I will never use this cab company again. Rediculous.
L	Lake Sherman on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ALMOST DIED! AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST! Got in the car with one head light working. The moment we hit the highway, we couldn't see anything and I knew I was in trouble. Right as I was texting my girlfriend my last goodbyes, and that tonight was going to be the night I died in a cab, I looked up. We were about 10 feet away from hitting a semi when I yelled "WATCH OUT"! The taxi driver slammed on the brakes and swerved into the lane beside us. That's when I ordered her to pull over and drop us off. Never again. If you value your life and don't want to die, I recommend walking or sleeping on the streets instead of hoping in a cab with these clowns. Not to mention doing 30kmh over in every speed zone. Driver must have been on crack or something because I thought it was impossible to be that bad at driving. And to tell you the truth, I kissed the ground once I was out of that cab.
C	Carrie-Anne Doucette on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I called Yellow Cabs at 12:30pm and requested a pick up time of 1:30pm so I would have time to make it to a 2:00 appointment. The dispatch assured me that the pick up would be at 1:30pm. At 1:35pm, I called the company to advise that the cab had not yet showed up and asked how long it would be. The dispatch assured me that it would be at my location in a few moments. At 1:50pm, I called dispatch again to advise that I was still waiting for a cab. The dispatch told me that the cab was on its way. I asked how long, and the dispatch said 5 minutes. I said why did you tell me that you could do a 1:30 pickup and yet I am still waiting for a cab. The dispatch said, the cab is coming. I said, "that doesn't answer my question". The dispatch then hung up on me. I then had to cancel my appointment, as any further delay would make me late. At 2:03pm the cab finally showed up. I waved the driver off, as I will not support a business who treats their customers with blatant disregard.
H	Heather McIvor on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Would leave a 0 if I could. Called the night before to book a cab for 450 am for my flight. Called again at 4 am to double check someone would be there on time. It's currently 540 am I drove myself to the airport and still have yet to hear from fhe cab and didn't see a single cab driving out on the way there. There's only one road to my location so I couldn't have missed him. Had I waited I would have missed my flight because of a cab. Do not recommend. Terrible service. I tried calling multiple times after to cancel the cab and they then rejected my calls. Still have yet to hear from them
G	Gary Disher on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Used Yellow Cab both to and from the airport. Got their night driver both times and he was wonderful - courteous and great to chat with on the way to town and back out. He was there waiting at the airport for pickup - did not call for a cab he was just there even though flight was over an hour late getting in. On the way back he arrived at my hotel 10 minutes early and remembered me! Dispatcher was great to deal with as well - and gave assurance that all was under control. I've seen the negative posts about EVERY Kamloops cab service on this site and I can tell you I have had really bad cab experiences all over the US and Canada - this was not my experience here - they were responsive, courteous, and professional.
