So definitely all the sashimi/sushi were fresh unfortunately the rice amount being put on the sushi rolls are extreme!! Who knows maybe I am just being too harsh and spoiled by kaide sushi where they put so much effort in to every roll..? to conclude: I would recommend ordering sashimi here, but non of the rolls we tasted will make me come back. Just not a big fan of sushi places using “Costco’s” smoked salmon on their rolls rather then raw salmon, just doesn’t do it and is NOT tasty.

F	F.S. Sharkwind on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friend and I went there last night! I ordered the special B which was extremely tasty (especially the tofu dengaku) with reasonable price. My friend loves their udon and the stuff was really nice. We would definitely go there again!!!!!!
J	James Concepcion on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really amazing Japanese restaurant with a real Japanese chef and staff. I had always passed by this restaurant since it was very plainly designed. I stepped inside one day to look at the menu and was surprised to see Japanese families eating. I learned that it was a Japanese run family business. The chef was trained in Japan. I love the way he wears a tie under his uniform. Talk about pride in your art. I tried the food and you can taste the difference between Korean and Chinese run Japanese restaurants. The sushi rice is not too sour and not too dry. The teriyaki is not too sweet and the miso soup not too salty. This is now my favorite sushi restaurant.
J	Jeffrey Wong on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place just oozes authenticity. The Japanese owner and waitstaff make sure that they are serving cuisine that is comparable to Japan. This is a casual restaurant that you probably would expect to find in Japan making great sushi with little fuss. The surprise is always very Kitsune udon which has a flavourful Dashi broth, perfectly cooked udon and Inari that is very well seasoned. I have been coming here very frequently for the past few years. It is just such a great place And I hope they stay in business.

I'm vegetarian so my sushi orders tend to be very simple -- mostly avocado and cucumber rolls lol. The quality of the rice and veggies here really shines. Seriously, the rice is sooo good. Also, the man who took and gave my order was so kind and friendly! We had a nice conversation about oshinko. I want to go back already. :)

I ordered the party tray for my birthday before, it was so delicious, fresh and had quite good amount of peices. It was definitely more value than the price they charged. Today, I had chirash Don, it was awesome !! Fresh, Delicious, good quality, and even good price. I want to introduce this place to all my friends in Vancouver. ??
