★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This may be the worst company for customer service on planet Earth. The woman who normally answers the phone is extremely rude and disinterested, then you get transferred to the parts dept, where they actually have only ONE person who is capable of finding a part for you. This woman has been on vacation in Greece the past 7 wks (a piece of information i just found out after the 4th call) - and so nobody can help me with a replacement part until she returns.
How is it possible that a company which advertises itself as "Canada's Largest Outdoor Equipment Supplier", has only ONE person working the parts department???
Perfect example of today's 'I already have your $$ so screw you' mentality.
I will NEVER buy another item from this company!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service at World Famous is terrible. I received a dining tent that was shipped damaged (broken pole). I contacted customer service to see if I could have the pole replaced. I was told that they didn't have any in stock in the parts department and therefore it could not be replaced.
This is crazy. Could they not have said that they will ship a replacement pole when the part became available.
I really like the tent but I will never buy from this supplier again if that is the way they treat their customers!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I WAS GIFTED A PAIR OF BUSHLINE INSULATED WADERS. AFTER ONLY A COUPLE USES THEY STARTED TO LEAK. THE COMPANY THAT THEY WERE PURCHASED FROM WILL NOT DO ANYTHING FOR ME AS I DO NOT HAVE THE RECEIPT. I HAVE EMAILED WORLD FAMOUS SEVERAL TIMES WITH NO REPLY TO ANY OF MY EMAILS. THEY HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANY ONE OF THEIR PRODUCTS AGAIN.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just purchased a 14.5” frying pan, which is clearly marked on the box as 14.5”. The frying pan only measures 12”, the frying pan is therefore a 12” frying pan and not 14.5” as claimed on the box.
I called World Famous, their response it’s whatever China sends them that’s what’s in the box. I asked how do I get a 14.5” frying pan as the box claims. She said I can’t until next spring when China sends them whatever frying pan.
Is it just me or does this seem shadey, misleading, and very illegal? How does World Famous not have some form of quality control. Imagine all the money you’d save making 12” frying pans and misleading people by selling them as 14.5” frying pans.
Very disgusting business practices misleading people.
