Free parking on Saturday’s and Sundays, sometimes it says it’s full but it usually isn’t

Free parking for weekends in the heart of downtown. Do not count on public washrooms.

Nice parking space. Sometimes the lot will display "lot full" when there is still space inside. This can be frustrating but when available it's a good option.

Easy to get in and out. Sometimes you have to look around for a spot but none are very far from the elevators. Easy to exit by foot. Little pricey but safe and reliable.

Poor signage and major charges for not finding the right spot. Poor customer service and inaccurate rate/charge posting. Better choice would be at the NAC parking or at any of the City of Ottawa parking lots, which have been very straightforward.

Did you know you can get a parking ticket by Impark? I received one for $42.61 last night for parking in a spot marked "small cars". I thought this was a suggestion, not a "no parking zone". I had plenty of room on all sides of my vehicle, I was not parked too close to other cars or impeding traffic in any way. It was not posted anywhere that it was considered a parking infraction to park there, nor was it posted that there was a risk of a fine. I am horrified that you can be fined in a paid lot. What terrible customer service to a paying customer!!!

i have been going to school at WIllis College on O'Connor street and this parking lot has made it very easy for me to drive to school. My school does not have their own parking so i have to find somewhere in busy Ottawa to park my car for 5 hours. This parking lot is fairly easy to get too and i can always find a parking lot. It is a bit expensive but i would recommend

As a former employee of the World Exchange Plaza (known as WEP to the employees) these are the known policies with parking: 1. Free on weekends unless you lose your ticket. Even on weekends, it's usually $30 to replace it. 2. On the weekends, Impark is not around so when you press the help button, it rings the Impark office but if there is no answer, it gets (or is suppose to get) redirected to security (dials a second time). 3. When security answers, if you lost your ticket, depending on who is in the office, what their mood is like and how you polite you are, they may or may not open the exit gate for you without needing to pay the $30 (saying things like "I lost my ticket, can you let me out?" will only make the guard hang up on you or tell you you have to pay the $30. The key is to be polite but remember, it depends on who is in the office.) 4. You need the ticket because only half of the parking spaces are available to the public. The rest are for the officer workers (since most of them are lawyers, some have been known to sleep overnight in their offices). It works on an algorithm and if security keeps the exit gates up, it messes up the algorithm to the point where the entrance gates close and say parking is full when there is still spots left (or it is completely empty which has happened because the algorithm was completely messed up). Keeping all gates open is not an option (except for Remembrance Day one year because no one wanted to get veterans angry). 5. In terms of the parking entrance gates, if there is a power outage, the exit gates come back online when power is back but the entrance gates do not and it is easy for employees to forget that. You may have to notify security in this case. Additionally, there is no waiting allowed in front of them as it is a safety hazard. 6. Because of the algorithm, there is not way to tell when a parking space will be available and the entrance gates lefts up. Even if you are a guest at the Capital Hill Hotel or the Sheraton hotel, you will be forced to play cat and mouse with the gates or find some other place to park. The only ones who can still go in without needing to wait are monthly pass holders (ie. the office workers/lawyers) 7. Not even security is made fully aware of the parking policies since Impark controls it and the policies in the size specific spots are on a need to know basis (not even the Impark employees in the Impark office on P1 have the full details since Impark as different employees going from parking lot to parking lot doing that and it seems like even a centimeter shorter than another car if using measuring tape can get you a ticket). 8. The worst time to try to park here is during events such as festivals, the light shows in the summer and fireworks displays. Parking is almost always full as a result. Especially after 6PM. 9. Parking is open 24 hours but you cannot park overnight unless you have a parking slip from the Capital Hill Hotel or the Sheraton on your dashboard saying you are a guest at their hotel. The building itself closes at 9PM every night so you will need to walk down the parking ramps you used to bring your car down or use the 24 Hour Access Door on O'Connor Street between Shoppers Drug Mart and the O'Connor Street lobby. You will need to look at a 90 degree angle when walking around there as it is hidden behind a corner in the wall. 10. Impark tends to be sneaky with the prices. Remember, there is no overnight parking or else you get an $80 parking ticket but they still post the price as $5 from 6PM to 12AM and from 12AM to 6PM is another $5. So on top of the $80 ticket, you also have to pay another $10. There is no way to tell what time Impark comes to hand out tickets as they mix up their pattern.
