J	Jacob Sutherland on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don’t trust this place they scam you. Was charged for day parking rate when I was only there for an hour and the rates said 3 dollars per half an hour. I only went because I had an appointment next door at the Appletree and even explained that, but he still told me that they always charge by the day rate and that you can’t pay for the half of an hour rate.
V	Vegan Peasant on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There's a creepy, bully who works here! Communicating with the office and his boss does nothing. Since the lighting is very dim, the basement is not recommended for women and children for safety issues, especially if the attendant likes to harass people. No cellphone reception but if you have a dash cam like i do, then damages like hit and runs and criminal harassment from that particular parking attendant, can be caught on film and admissible in court.
S	Sam Hickman on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Parked here for an event nearby. Was told it would be $14 for the day and gave my keys to the attendant. Upon returning to the kiosk to collect my keys and car the attendant was quite confused and kept looking at a note he had written on a piece of cardboard. He told me "there was an issue" and to "check my car". Upon arriving at my car in the lot found a city of Ottawa ticket for $95 (Issued by Agency: Capital Parking). The attendant told me he had accidentally ticketed my car as illegally parked and I should call by-law. Capital Parking can write official City of Ottawa tickets through a program called Private Parking Enforcement Agencies (PPEA). The attendant told me there was nothing he or anyone at Capital Parking could do to help. By-Law told me the only way to correct it is to go to court and explain the situation, which would kill the better part of a day. I don't have any proof this is a scam, but through the City of Ottawa Private Parking Enforcement Agencies program the parking lot operator (Capital Parking) gets to keep 50% of the total collected on tickets they write. At $95, that means the lot operator stands to earn $47.50 for my day of parking through this program. Long story short... I was issued ticketed by a parking lot operator for parking my car legally. Through a City of Ottawa program the lot operator will get 50% of the proceeds of the ticket.

I just suspected he was jealous I had a nice car and that he was stuck working in a dungeon for minimum wage. Best thing that happened during this pandemic is not seeing this short stumpy guy!!
