★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful walk through bushland on a well maintained trail. There are a couple slopes to consider but nothing daunting. Just another of the myriad trail options in Woolwich and environs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was a nice 20 minute winter hike back to the dam. Just wore our slip on Merrell boots as the snow is well trampled and most of the way is paved. Parking is just off the main road as the gate is locked in winter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a big place to roam around but pretty okay for just a walk. Fishing ? is quite famous hobby here and you’ll find lot of fishermen. There’s long trail through the woods, its quite and dark. Boating is not allowed, swimming not allowed, also water is dirty. Good for bicycle rides and pet walk.
Free and sufficient parking. Not crowded but just dozen of people at times.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Lion's Trail which goes around the reservoir is one of my favourite hikes in the region. It's lengthy at about 8km but not strenuous and there's a lot of variety. A warning though: in November 2021 some parts were quite muddy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice long trails surrounded with nature's true beauty. Visited this place last year toward the end of winter and this year in summer and both the trips were memorable. Walked the 7.6 KM long trail loop this time.
