Woof! Dog Shop & Daycare

The staff at Woof are fantastic and very professional. Unfortunately my dog Stevie can be a bit sassy to say the least and she always comes out of Woof with a perfect hair cut! I couldn’t recommend Woof enough to anyone who needs a dog groomer on Bloor west!

Amazing service. My puppies first grooming was amazing and he came out happy and clean. Loved how they follow the covid protocol and provide incredible services in these times. Plus it is super cost effective.

Tara was the perfect person to give our 4 month-old Cavapoo her first grooming experience! She was so warm and gentle, immediately putting our pup at ease. She did a great job cleaning her up while not compromising her puppy coat. And I mean, look at that bandana and clip... so swaggy. Also, Jess at the cash taught us so much about dog food! Big thanks to all the Woof staff.

My dog has anxiety and can be quite difficult. I started taking him here to get his nails trimmed, and the staff here are wonderful with him! Not to mention, their prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend Woof!

Let me start by saying we took our dog to woof for grooming several times before and they always did an amazing job at an affordable price (that is why I'm giving two stars instead of one star). However, unfortunately not only did their prices increase recently but it also seems like they've lost the care and attention to detail they used to have. When my wife brought our dog in for her groom this week they immediately warned us she was very matted and would have to go short, which we thought was weird because she was probably the least matted she has ever been and they were still able to keep her fur relatively long the other times (even post lockdown!). When she came out we were shocked to see her completely shaved almost to the skin, including her fluffy tail!! We've had our dog for 6 years now and they've never had to shave her tail off no matter how matted she was. And the most concerning thing is this was done with zero warning, not even a call to give us a heads up or ask if it was ok. When we asked them about it they didn't even let us talk to the groomer and just told us she apologized and "forgot to mention it", which is a pretty upsetting answer given the drastic decision she took on her own. It just seemed like the groomer was in a hurry and didn't want to take the time to work through the matts so just shaved it all as the fastest easiest thing to do. The length of the rest of the fur also seemed very uneven like it was done in a rush. This is by far the worst grooming job she's ever had. Not only that, but our dog seemed extremely nervous when we walked in and was even whimpering, which she's never done before not even when we take her to the vet. She refused to go with the groomer when she came down and didn't even take treats which is extremely unusual for her. We didn't want to leave this review because we thought it was just a one off, but after our dogs reaction and reading a similar review someone else left we think it's important to share our experience

We have used them for daycare and grooming and have only had good experiences with both. The staff are extremely warm and caring. They really understood our dog's anxiety and made sure she was ok. We would even get updates from the staff when Abby would make new friends. They really care and it shows.

All the staff at Woof! Daycare have been incredibly patient with our dog O’Malley. He is slow to trust new people and for the first few months he was apprehensive about going to daycare and now he leads the way to their door and inside! It’s a great feeling knowing our four legged guy is comfortable there and we’ll taken care of.

The best city daycare, offering the best outdoor farm days and boarding for the dogs! Also, the most amazing team, who genuinely care for the dogs. Our pooch always comes home beaming and exhausted after spending her day at Woof! ?
